Trumps debt ceiling problem

The ACA didn't have much to do about the companies decision to swap insurance companies. They could've kept the same one. But the new one offered better rates and/or plans.
And who was going to argue with them over it? They were paying like 70% of our premiums.
No that is not exactly true, I had the best insurance I ever had before ACA, now coverages are less, premiums are more

Yes, it was exactly true. Why would I lie about it? No one, including the companies bought insurance from the government. We all bought it through the free market. The checks for the premiums were written out TO the insurance companies.
Before the ACA took over, I couldn't afford to buy my own health insurance. The rates were getting higher and higher every year.
When the ACA came in, I was making too much money to qualify for any subsidies. So I went years without it. And didn't really need it.
When I came off the road and signed on with a small company, who didn't have health benefits, I finally qualified for the ACA. I myself chose the company to go to. I chose the plan.

The ACA hasn't improved health insurance or it's cost. Both Republican and Democrat administrations have allowed premium increases every year. Even before the ACA came about. Before the ACA, insurance companies had to get approval to increase premiums. And every time, both parties allowed it.

you were in the 15%, it fucked everything ups for 85% of us. Again it is increasing the debt every year we have had it. If you hadn't been living beyond your means, you could have afforded coverage, you chose not to. Democrats reward people for bad behavior, you went without, most of us played by the rules and the lazy fucks once again get atta boys when Obama like Presidents hit office

Living beyond my means? LMAO.. Did you really just say that, without even knowing what my means were? Or why I had to take a local job driving, instead of OTR trucking. Or why my new employer didn't offer insurance to none of their employers.
You're missing a LOT of important details. But still somehow manage to make out like I was living beyond my means.

BTW, you had to switch doctors, right? That's because your employer was subsidizing your health insurance. Paying it FOR YOU, out of his own pocket.
YOUR employer made the business decision to change insurance companies to one that YOUR doctor didn't subscribe to.
So there's two thing before you even get to the ACA.
1. Your employer changed companies for their OWN reasons.
2. Your doctor didn't subscribe to that new insurance company.

But you still blame the ACA.

no Obama forced changes on my employer with ACA so they could not afford two different policies and had to go with the one under ACA. Again Government has no business in healthcare. My Doctor refused to subscribe to the new rules and retired. ACA fucked everyone that were doing what they were supposed to and rewarded all the lazy fucks that were going against the grain.

Trump's not in office....
He wants to be president again, so his record is a legitimate target.

when he was he was able to work with Congress to ensure we didn't default...Xiden's there now, and has refused to work with Congress on it...it's XIden's problem
September 30, 2017. Debt ceiling suspended to March 2019. No spending limit! Republicans controlled both Houses of Congress and did not threaten to shut down the government.

March 1, 2019
. Debt ceiling reinstated and raised by over $2 trillion above current debt. Republicans controlled the Senate and did not threaten to shut down the government.

August 2, 2019.
Debt ceiling suspended to July 2021, well after the 2020 election. No spending limit! Republicans controlled the Senate and did not threaten to shut down the government.

All of this was on Trump's watch and BEFORE the pandemic.

And yet you rubes magically bleev the GOP is fiscally responsible!!!

The Republicans only whine about overspending when they don't get to do it.

and his record shows that he was willing to work across party lines to avoid a debt crisis...unlike the current admin who's holding the nation hostage.

Trump was willing to work across party lines to rack up more debt at the fastest rate in history, without a single Republican threatening to shut down the government to stop him.

My God. The idiocy of the tards is beyond belief.

It is said the Devil's greatest trick was convincing the world he does not exist.

The organization formerly known as the Republican Party's greatest trick was convincing the rubes they are fiscally responsible, especially while a devil was sitting in the White House.

LMAO.. Good grief man.

The ACA was ONLY a law that said the government would pay for much of the insurance premiums. That's it. It was basically a socialist idea. But with one exception. The private insurance companies were still allowed to operation.

You're company wasn't going to be FORCED to buy two different types of policies. If they told you that, then they lied to you.
What they probably did, which was what most companies did, found an insurance company with better rates, but lower coverage. Then told you they were forced to do it.

I wouldn't call Trump the devil. But he was (and still is) very liberal.

He wasn't near as good as the Trumpbots made him out to be. But he wasn't as bad as the left made him out to be either.

He's not THE Devil. He is A devil.

And he is as bad as the leftists made him out to be. He was coasting along off the hard work which preceded him and which was being done by others, and then when finally confronted with an actual crisis, he totally choked. Bigly.

He also had the most criminal administrations in at least a century.

But you are right about him being a liberal. I've been saying that since 2015.

Can you imagine what the Trumpbots would say if Biden banned bump stocks, or gave $500 billion to black communities, just because they were black communities? (Platinum Plan)

You are a fucking idiot, companies could not keep cadillac plans and offer the other policies without huge cost increases. Democrats are the dumbest fucking idiots on the planet when it comes to costs to operate a business. Our government is lying to you and you like so many other naive people are lapping it up.

The Republicans only whine about overspending when they don't get to do it.
at least money comes back to working class when they do it, when democrats do it the working class shrinks in disposable income

The Republicans in the House passed a bill to raise the debt ceiling. Schumer and Biden refuse to raise it and keep us from defaulting on our debt and crashing the economy.

Nobody can explain how this is Trump's problem.
