The 14th amendment is not conditional on parents' status, it grants citizenship unconditionally on anyone born here. It was last challenged in 1898.
You talk as the Constitution hasn't been ratified before and after what Biden did to it you shouldn't be the one to talk. Trump had to sign an EO to allow free speech in America again because the Biden/Harris administration totally screwed that part up along with the whole entire country.

He has just sworn to defend the constitution and a few hours later he attacks the constitution, THAT is what I am arguing about, not the merits or otherwise of restrictions I really couldn't care less about them.

If the ******* braindead republicans want to apply restrictions to the 14th amendment, then there's a process for doing that, the country doesn't need a ******* drama queen like Trumpty Dumpty making a huge circus out of it so he just can just try to insinuate he's a victim which is all he's done all his life, all of this shit is attention seeking, trouble making by a 78 year old petulant cuɲt with a mental age of 14.

What we are seeing here is a grave danger, it is an abuse of power, an attempt to use an already biased SCOTUS to circumvent a democratic process that is already very well defined.

NO. It is clearly stated it comes into effect 30 days after Jan 20 and that law enforcement agencies are obliged to uphold the executive order.

The only way it will ever get to SCOTUS is by it being challenged in all the state courts as it now is being, lots of work, lots of running around, lots of resources and this all by a president who claims to seek efficiency in government, the man is a prick, a lying drama queen.

The whole executive order is likely written by some dunce legal dingbat who works for Trump by doing exactly what he's told.

Wouldn't this at some point in time require a certification at birth? As it is now, all that is recorded is date and place of birth and parents names and place of residence. There is no determination based in citizen status because of the assumption of citizenship based on what is primarily a custom here. That and internal enforcement makes this difficult if not impossible, We have done it this way for so long we are institutionalized, while nearly every other nation doesn't do this.
  • Child’s full name, including first, middle, and last names
  • Child’s place of birth: city, country, and state
  • Date of birth, which can also include the time
  • Child’s gender
  • Details about the birth: single birth, twins, triplets, etc.
  • Father’s full name
  • Birth date and location of the father
  • Mother’s full name, including maiden name if married
  • Birth date and location of the mother
  • City, country, and state of residence of the birth parents

The assumption of citizenship is based on the Constitution not custom.

It doesnt mention slaves, or immigrants no matter what you spout. I suspect that Trump would need to change that before he implements his edict.
Any which are not either citizens , or subjects by title in us legal immigration system , as in invited by visa , do not satisfy the " thereof " term from us 14th amendment and their children are to be given jus sangunin citizenship to the country of origin of the mother .

The kim wong ark judgement ruled that kim was a us citizen , because his parents were legal migrants in good legal standing , meaning that they complied with such things as not requiring social subsistence , not criminals , etc . which is expected of legal migrants ( visa ) seeking to stay in the us , and it is especially required of those seeking to be naturalized .
