Trump was betrayed

All Trump wanted was loyalty. He got very little of that during his first term. No wonder he will be very selective during his second term.

---But no matter how much emphasis Trump put on loyalty in his first term, he found himself disappointed and frustrated when people he had hired chose other considerations over his instructions — their own reputations, future ambitions and even the Constitution.---

Trump let Washington insiders convince him to hire certain people that put their own personal agendas ahead of his.

Loyalty is earned, not something you just feel entitled to.
Except when it is your Joe Biden whom you are loyal to because he's a "professional" politician! 50 years experience! Never mind they are 50 years of horrible deeds.

Trump has no loyalty. So, he earned no loyalty.
So now loyalty is shared? Can't you make up your mind? Funny you think he has earned no loyalty while 96% of all conservatives hold fast to him!

This right here is exactly what scares sane people about Trump getting into the high office.

Our goverment is based on loyalty to our country, Constitution and law, not personal loyalty to Trump.
.

You are just too wrapped up in your little personality cult to understand that.

If you don't know and understand the rules of respect among men, you too are probably unworthy of it, and cannot count on it either. Good luck to you and yours.

Probably? You know who has no respect? Joe Biden. Joe gets respect by greasing palms, and he doesn't even have that respect anymore as democrats now throw him under the bus. When Trump was young, he used to go to job sites with his father and sit and talk to the workers asking them their ideas and opinions. Trump improved the NY skyline and had plenty of respect and loyalty. Today, Trump still has loyalty and loyalty will win him another term, not whatever slick backroom deals he can bribe people with.

What terrifies me is people with no critical thinking skills no understanding of complex issues and no way to think other than total agreement with your Cult's position.
People who the more wrong that they are, the louder that they are about it.
You are an excellent example.

President Trump was elected by a certain amount of people, in certain areas of the country as our Constitution prescribes.

Not everyone votes for any politician, at any level.

Having won, President Trump needed to be loyal to the ideas of the people who elected him, he was President of The Entire United states, but he was President with an agenda set by his voters.
He needed and he deserved to be surrounded by people, not loyal to him, but loyal to his mandate to work for the people. Since he was loyal to this idea, if the people around him were also loyal to the ideas of those that put President Trump in office and by extension them, loyalty to President Trump would simply organically grow.

In this country, the people in government are loyal to the country, not to the president.
