Trump Wants No Tax For Americans Making Less Than $150,000 A Year

Will he stop taxing people who make under $150,000 before or after he stops taxing waitress's tips

the difference is that Trump is delivering what he promised.
No. No he hasn't.

1). I will lower prices on groceries on day 1.......NOPE.
2). I will end the war with Ukraine and Russia, even before I get into office......NOPE.
3). I will LOWER inflation on day 1....has he?

Will you be upset if all of these things happen, even if not on “day 1”? Trump is the king of hyperbole, that is for sure. I think most of us recognize that he meant that moves towards these goals will begin on day 1. That is absolutely the case.

Many people need to set aside their hatred for Trump, the man, and to start thinking on their own instead of letting the far-left nuts on the MSM spoon feed them information about how everything Trump does is bad. Many hate Trump with every fiber of their being, but if they live in the US, they will likely benefit from Trump’s presidency in the next 4 years, unless they are an illegal. Patience.

Reduce spending to account for the temporary shortfall on tax revenues.

The only way to reduce spending to pay for what you are proposing IS TO DEFAULT. It's is straight crazy.

We are switching from using trade policy to push foreign policy to using trade policy to push economic policy.

China adopted our type of trade policy with its belt and road to drive countries into their sphere of influence.

We were losing with that trade policy because we couldn't match slave labor, automation in manufacturing, and government controlling the private sector.

Even though with open borders driving down wages and more and more government control of the private sector with regulations, we tried.

Trump is totally abandoning that policy and that losing war.

He is starting a whole new battle using our middle class to fight it. Increasing our middle class with protection tariffs, securing our border to increase our middle-class wages. Using those wages and the increased purchasing power to make the USA the place to be to soak up supply.

The revenues from tariffs will allow taxes to be reduced, creating more demand.

China can not match that demand because their middle class doesn't have the means, and their government will never allow their middle class to amass the means. It's totally opposed to marxism to have a rich, vibrant middle class.

As we know, governments, in general, once they latch onto a new revenue stream fighting to end, it is a multigenerational battle(see income tax)

Thats a cool story, but our problem wasn't employment and wages, it was INFLATION first and foremost that people voted on. These tarrif wars will do nothing but make things a lot more expensive while at the same time introducing volatily-of-choice into the markets.

Trump will not be able to rationalize his policies to voters and unless he now makes a total 180 on these radical tarrifs he can kiss his aproval and congressional majorities goodbye.

People didn't vote for this hardcore protectionist bullshit.

It's a reshaping of the fundamentals of our economy.

This has got to the dumbest sentence of the whole post - TARRIFS ARE TAXES paid by American importers and ultimately the consumers.

You don't "reduce taxes" by INCREASING taxes, and in this case not only taxes are increased, but you are specifcially hitting low income people the hardest, because they increase prices of basic nescessities like produce.

To that of HIGH INFLATION, market volatility, and cronyism as these companies a forced to come kiss Donald's ring for special-rules-for-special-people tarrif carve-outs.

Donald loves this because unlike in most other economic matters he has unchecked king-like power over tarrifs, so he is no doubt hooked on this like a crack addict. But past these immediate gratifications, this economic policy is a big loser for America, total loser for Republicans and ultimately for his presidency.

Why are you the only person who took these "On day 1" statements literally?

Here is the first 4 years.
Next 4 better be a 180.
Why do you want... ?
  • Real weekly earnings to go down 8.4%
  • median household income to drop 6%
  • Corporate proficts to fall 17.4%
  • The number of people on food stamps to increase 1.4%
  • CO2 emissions to go up 11.3%
  • Handgun production to drop 12.5%
  • Poverty rate to increase 1.3%
  • S&P to drop 67.8%
  • Home ownership to drop 2.1%
  • US crude production to drop 27.9%

I guess it's like buying an airplane ticket to get to California on January 20th.

And instead of the plane taking off, it sits on the ground on the taxi way for six months to a year.
But you will eventually get there.
So no problemo..... right?

Like a drowning man, being promised they would throw him a life preserver. People in America were desperate to get food inflation under control, which is the reason many people voted for Trump, who otherwise would not have.

Harris didn't promise to lower prices on Day one, but Trump did.

15th post
Oh, it was political ammo. They ALL gnaw on it constantly like it's a security blanket.

Trump made a boat load of promises. Each one meant to attract voters who otherwise would never have voted for him.,

He promised lower prices on day one.
He promised lower taxes.
He promised he wouldn't touch social security, medicare or medicaid.
He promised he would balance the budget.
The list was endless.

And your response is typical MAGA.
Trump didn't really mean anything that he promised. That was just to get people to vote for him.

Nobody expected Trump to actually carry out any of his promises.

New steel plant announced for Louisiana by Hyundai....56 billion. Thousands of jobs and a new car plant couldn't be far off either.
