Once again, your question isn’t relevant. This isn’t a question as to how he declassifies documents because we’ve never gotten any actual indication they were declassified.Ok, so once again, what is the official law for how a president must declassify things? Up until the point he leaves the white house, hes still president. If he has unilateral declassification authority, and there is no law governing how a president must declassify things, why cant he declassify things as hes boxing them up?
His team signed a document that said all documents had been turned over. That was a lie because Trump was hiding the documents from his lawyers.Once again, his team said they were in the process of returning documents. Many of his personal things were mixed in with those docs.
It’s not relevant. The question at hand here is whether Trump is owed compensation, which he obviously isn’t.It is relevant because you only want the law applied to the republicans.
It was a bit more nuanced than that.Marener
Funny thing is, the "special master" Judge Cannon appointed already destroyed the lie that Trump declassified any of what he stole.
Team Trump.made the claim that Trump had declassified most or all of the documents.
The Special Master said, "Great! Please provide the list of what you declassified by next Tuesday.:
Team Trump retracted it's claim, and suddenly Cannon had no more need for the Special Master.
Why not just send your taxes directly to trump?Now its $300MM.
Sadly, DEI does not include special considerations for the wealthy, as the trump regime attacks equitable hiring. trump would be serving french fries at Wendys if it did.He is and always will be insanely jealous of Obama.
It was. They did not state it explicitly. Apparently, the Special Master was not a moron and knew what was happening.It was a bit more nuanced than that.
But it’s true that he refused to ever state in court that anything was actually declassified.
Which proves lies can be told to the media all day, but when one gets into court, under oath...the lies stop.It was a bit more nuanced than that.

That was true then, but I doubt it is the case anymore.Which proves lies can be told to the media all day, but when one gets into court, under oath...the lies stop.

Well, when you consider that the corrupt agencies involved in persecuting Trump were from gov't led by the handlers of Joey B, and followed by Garland and Wray, the answer would be Res!.
I'm sure that Trump would return the money to the U.S. government just as he's returned his salary as president each year and donated substantially to the extension of the White House Ballroom that is being built.
And this is the man that tells the Dems during the shutdown that he will not give in to Extortion. trump is the KING OF EXTORTION.Problem is, if you play the game...
but then Trump says one thing like "I'm going to save you money by not taking a wage" and then suing yourself knowing it's the tax payers who are going to pay.
It's rather contradictory, isn't it?
I doubt he'll give the money back.
And he says he's donated to the White House ballroom, as far as I can tell the money came from Youtube, another company he sued with threats that he'd make their life difficult if they didn't just capitulate.
You watched CNN lately? They are becoming another trump media outlet?That was true then, but I doubt it is the case anymore.
Trump has immunity so lying to the court is unprosecutable.
Imagine Comey gets him under oath as part of his motion to dismiss for vindictive prosecution. SCOTUS says Trump can lie all he wants and has no legal liability.
~~~~~~>Storying classifed documents on his bathroom floor in Florida...moving them around to avoid FBI agents...lying about even whether he has the documents. Funding J6 criminals to come to DC and attack the WH.
These are just two of the many crimes your POS so called president committed and was rightfully prosecuted for. Now he wants us the tax payers to pay him for the money for he spent to defend his crimes. He is a dictionary photo of an Authoritarian.
~~~~~~>BS....how does it feel to be a Magat? Do you have orange dreams? trump is a Liar and you lust for him.
How does it feel to be caught again in a lie?BS....how does it feel to be a Magat? Do you have orange dreams? trump is a Liar and you lust for him.
If Trump thinks those charges are bogus, why doesn’t he take them to court?Dembots seem to think it’s perfectly ok for govt to abuse people’s civil rights and not have to pay any damages for doing it
How very fascist of you
It wasn’t his job to take it to court. The people making the accusations were suppose to do that, but they couldn’tIf Trump thinks those charges are bogus, why doesn’t he take them to court?
No. That may be what you think message boards are for, but that's your problem, not mine. No, I dont think i have to link up the basic facts of a topic every time a sealioning troll demands it, sorry.
This is a board for adults, and adults should be expected to make an effort to inform themselves, especially on topics they open their mouths about.

It’s not. We don’t have to consider procedures for declassification because there was absolutely no reason to believe any of these documents had been declassified.Well, it is relevant if the procedures for normal declassification can be bypassed by a president.
It doesn’t beg the question. Whether Trump declassified them is irrelevant to the subpoena. He was legally obligated to comply with the subpoena and didn’t.Thats fair, but still begs the question of if he declassified them. If you read EO 13526, then wording shows that presidents do have unilateral declassificarion in some areas, but the wording above it says that the review process for other classified materials happens only if in can be done with a reasonable amount of effort.
Nope. Trump is complaining that the investigation and prosecution of him was something so egregious that he deserves compensation. Biden’s case has zero to do with that.Bidens "wilfull retention and disclosure of classified material" IS relevant.
Ive already agreed with you on the $230M issue.
