That has me scratching my head too. I see the Middle East is returning in play as China gains more influence there and America is looking for allies, now matter how awful they are. The problem is the entire Middle East really doesn't trust America as much as it trusts China, and China is a really big customer for petroleum now. It looks like America may soon be driven out of the Middle East. Trump may be desperate for anything? I don't know.
