Trump Versus Our Oldest Enemy

Do you mean "quarrel", as in Definition 2. Ground of objection, dislike, difference, or hostility; cause of dispute or contest; occasion of altercation. ???

You may have a point.
But larger one is that pseudo-liberals/leftist have difficulty being precise or accurate in their statements.
You don't know the word. Your problem.

1.If you misunderstood the revolution that just took place, Trump defeating both parties and returning power to the voter, then you might also be missing the real enemy: the Deep State, the Bureaucracy…..the Administrative State.

It is those who believe that they know best how to run the country, no matter what the voters believe….they suck up control as a vacuum sucks up dirt.

2. It doesn’t matter what the voter views as good. The is the view of the first Progressive President, Woodrow Wilson, who famously said, "Men are as clay in the hands of a consummate leader," which means that a skilled leader can easily manipulate and influence the masses, much like a potter shaping clay, highlighting his belief in the powerful role of leadership in shaping public opinion and action.

He was also a Fascist.

3. So Trump and Musk are attempting to dismantle the Administrative State, and reduce both its size and the power it has assumed. There is nothing in the Constitution that gives power to agencies.

4. The concept of ‘checks and balances’ is viewed by Progressives as standing in the way of addressing every and any ‘social ill.’ It is of more than passing interesting that Progressives view of government is of the contrary: powers must be centralized in an executive, and the bureaucrats that invest this type of government.

“…the agencies comprising the bureaucracy reside within the executive branch of our national government, but their powers transcend the traditional boundaries of executive power to include both legislative and judicial functions, and these powers are often exercised in a manner that is largely independent of presidential control and altogether independent of political control.” http://www.heritage.org/research/thought/fp16.cfm

5. Through the use of media, schools and control of pop culture, millions of Americans have been used just as Democrat Woodrow Wilson said, as malleable lumps of clay, convinced to believe in censorship, radical values and attitudes, and the very opposite of what America was destined to be. Let’s hope Trump and Musk succeed.
Until there was a United States of America, all peoples of the world were under the authority of complete totalitarianism. This took the form of small oligarchies such as the Roman Senate that granted pretty much unrestricted totalitarian powers to their governors. Or the people were ruled by dictators, Muslim caliphs, feudal lords, kings, monarchs, Church powers or some combinations of those.

The USA was the first country in which the power was given to the people who would elect its leaders bound and restricted by a Constitution ratified by the people. It was the first nation on Earth to be of, by and for the people who were intended to govern themselves within the law passed by the people they elected to represent them.

For a long time now those longing for the totalitarian powers of those monarchs, etc. of old have been eroding all the principles this country was founded on with the hopes they will be able to seize that power.

PC is right that such nefarious ambition is the oldest enemy of the people.

Bravo!

Quite the erudite post!

I wish there were more like this!

Bernie Sanders as VP........
You may find this interesting: my local public high school is James Madison High School, Brooklyn. Bernie Sanders graduated from there. So did Schumer, and Justice Ruth Bader Ginzberg, and former Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman.

No other high school in the nation can boast such a firmament.

Something in the water perhaps?

Trump also has three indictments against him. He should be in jail, awaiting trial.

Clearly, you’re too gutless to define which definition you ntended to reference. Typical you: worthless.
I thought he had engaged a typo.
But seems not.

Rather just another lame rhetorical attempt to appear erudite.
Seems a trait common to Leftists and Regressives who display a snobbish elitism trying to appear better than the rest of us yet just coming across as obtuse.

So a few pages of 'goggle' and sidetracks and would seem that johnny slow donkey is presenting an obscure Latin/French term;

Anyone ever stop and think that today's left is a creation of the entrenched establishment for the sole purpose of keeping the establishment in power? There was a time decades ago when the democrats were anti-establishment and created a lot of difficulty for the establishment. Then they ran out of money during Reagan's time and had to sell their souls to remain alive. The establishment eventually bought the entire party and used it to deepen its roots and make it just about impossible to get rid of. That is one one the biggest complaints of Trump, that the government now exists to keep the establishment in power and getting more wealthy, not benefiting the people.

You couldn't be more perceptive.

Spot on.

How do you define "establishment?"

How did the Democrats "sell their souls" to this "establishment?"

Are you going to argue that there is no political establishment? Do you honestly think that politicians go to DC and spend every day fighting for the needs of the working class and refuse to be influenced by interests with deep pockets? Can you tell me how DC really works? Come on, anyone who doesn't know exactly what the establishment is should not be participating in political discussion.
