Sometimes I think Trump just says shit to get a reaction. I'm like you, I have no idea what to think.

Trump also seems to have a hard time focusing on any one thing in particular long enough to show progress on whatever the goal is. There doesn't appear to be any organization or plan or timeline for the things he says he's going to do

He appears to be the first American President who has no understanding of relationships. Being entirely transactional, he doesn't understand that other world leaders see a bigger picture and carefully maintain their relationships. So he just assumes that he can stab you in the back one moment and expect a hearty handshake the next.

This is also obvious in the way he treats other Americans, particularly American politicians. This must have been the way he "did business" (in between the bankruptcies), and he doesn't understand that this behavior does not translate on the world stage. Other world leaders have to have at lease some degree of trust in your character.

Oh well. Let's all embrace our inner nihilists and watch.
