I understand debate about trans in sports and locker rooms etc. but why in the world would anybody end a crisis hotline that receives over 2000 calls a day? These are youth who are suicidal and in crisis reaching out for help. And there’s no plan or effort to replace the assistance with anything.

Play your political games all you want but cutting off a lifeline to people in need of help is just cruel.

You call the number and it directs you to an operator that connects you with resources in your community

Unless you are a vet or calling about a vet, it says hit 1 on your phone and directs you to the VA
