When you call the suicide hotline, there is a menu of options to choose from, and you pick the one for your particular case so you can be connected to someone with expertise in that area.

No there are two options currently

Press 1 if you are a vet or calling about a vet to direct you to the VA and option 3 if you are gay

Option. 3 cost 33 million just to have that option.

What is the slant with which the LGBT hotline answers these calls? If they are government funded, they will be agenda driven. So what agenda and I asked to pay for this time?

Frankly, I'm very skeptical of claims that LGBT-Q++ youth are constantly on the verge of mass suicide, and that such deaths can only be averted by granting Democrats everything they want.

Again, ALL the suicide hotlines are paid for by federal funds, which makes singling one out for exclusion is nothing but hatred.

And that is the ONLY one Trump is defunding.

If you have a budget of $33M you need to consider the time frame for that budget... Is it annual? If so then you divide it by the number of calls taken over the course of that time frame.

So to use round numbers... if the line is taking 2000 calls a day over the course a year... 2000 x 365 = 730K calls ; 33M / 730K = $45.20 a call

Because, YOU people are more in tune with this stuff. Take up a GO FUND ME PAGE, and do something about it.

If you really care, and honestly believe what you say, you should be the very 1st in line trying to help.

There are many go fund me pages and private initiatives and ORGs... The fact that there are other services does not justify cutting off one that is being used for political reasons.
