Every democratic party president (it would be impossible to enforce) needs to vet their nominees for SCOTUS and ask them, when do you plan to retire? If the answer is anything short of 65 y/o...move on to the next candidate.

We’ll never get age/term limits passed for SCOTUS so the Dems need to sart the ball rolling on self preservation. They were outplayed by the GOP. If the Dems don’t win the Senate in November, you can look for one or two conservative justices to retire and for them to be replaced by someone who will sit there for 30+ years.

It will never work for them. Simple numbers dictate that fact. The current population numbers of black and latin Americans, and their sizable influence of economic power, is much more powerful now than in the past.

But there is now another factor that also has more influence than in the past. Mixed race Americans, of black and white, and latin and white families.

All of these populations of people can greatly influence economies in counties and cities in every state, which redistricting won't protect Republicans in state and local elections. Which is how political power can be changed far more rapidly, than in national elections.
