It's actually cruelty to never come up with an actual solution and to speak of them as though they are subhuman vermin who need to be rounded up.

I ask for the ******* umpteenth time, AND PUT THEM WHERE? We have NONE of the housing, psychiatric, medical, or treatment resources needed.

The obvious answer is Trump's final solution is concentration camps.

No, it isn't. That's a myth cooked up by the left. Unlike you, I have actually worked with the homeless. Over 90% of them are either mentally ill, drug addicts, or both and many of them refuse help. They don't want to go to shelters because then they have to follow rules, so they stay on the streets where they can drink their booze or shoot up their drugs.

The amount of people who are truly homeless due to their lack of being able to afford housing is miniscule.

They don't go to shelters for two reasons.

First and foremost, there isn't enough shelter, as I keep ******* telling you people. If you really did work with the homeless, as I have, you would know that.

Second, most of the homeless are mentally ill and feel safer on their own. That's the power of addiction, not a character flaw as you are implying.

When it comes to mental illness and addiction, we have a chicken and the egg situation. Are they mentally ill and self-medicating, or are they mentally ill because they abused drugs.

There simply is no way of getting around the fact we are desperately short of the professionals and institutions needed to resolve this problem. If you really did work with the homeless, you would know that, too.

They housed 1/4 of the population of NOLA during Katrina with short notice , well funded & unfettered workarounds and resource utilizing efforts would get a handle on this issue pronto

Rehab is just a vacation for those strung-out on dope. As soon as they feel normal, they'll go right back to it.
