In my immediate area gas is around $4.84. I got it yesterday for $4.14 about 40min from here. I'll see what it is locally this evening. It peaked around $5.19 near me about 2 weeks ago or so.

You'll see an immediate drop of between 20 to 50 cents per gallon of gas...a more substantial drop after a month and we should be back to pre-war prices in 3-6 months. That coupled with the effects from the Big Beautiful Bill should have the US economy smoking hot before the end of the year.
