DNC deletes sickening politicized Memorial Day post after blowback from Democrat senator​

The Democratic Party's official X account deleted a post politicizing the deaths of American service members in Iran on Memorial Day after one of its most prominent veteran lawmakers publicly pushed back.

However, while these posts may have drawn some ire, none of them came from the official account of one of America's two major political parties.
"Today, we honor the American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in Trump's war with Iran," the post read.
The post was one of several made by both liberal and Democratic organizations using the day to pin the deaths of troops on President Donald Trump, some of which remain up:

It's unclear whether blowback from conservative accounts is what ultimately killed the post, but Illinois Democratic Sen. Tammy Duckworth -- a former U.S. Army helicopter pilot who served in Iraq -- also served as high-profile pressure from the left to take the post down.
"It is incredibly distasteful to use our heroic dead for a political attack on Memorial Day," she wrote.
"I’m a Democrat and I condemn this post by the DNC."

It didn't help, either, that pro-Iran outlets on social media also picked it up:

Duckworth was given some credit from unusual sources, although they noted that this was who the Democratic Party is in 2026.

Commentary:
How quickly Democrats forget their results of 13 service members sacrificed during the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, not to mention the billions of dollars' worth of equipment left behind by Milley, Austin and Biden as gifts to the enemy.
If Obama was doing this, like he did in Libya, they'd all be cheering.
Democrats keep opening their mouths. They can't articulate anything that doesn't have Trump hate in it. They said what they meant the first time. As a retired Veteran I am pretty sure that the the Biden politicization of the military was killing the quality and quantity of recruits. People are not stupid. Why would any parent recommend that their children join the military? Politicians keep their children "safe." When the government is corrupt it is time to look at other options.
Absolutely disgusting. To treat the deaths of our military like some novelty. Democrats seriously have no class and no respect for what our brave men and women do for us. Disagree with certain deployments all you want, but show respect especially on Memorial Day.

Yep. But, at long last, a recognized Democrat leader had the gumption to correctly criticize what her Party’s officialdom had just done and said.

While I’m generally not a fan of Sen. Duckworth, I don’t feel any need to hesitate in applauding her for her comments on this matter.
