Trump scolds the nation.

Oh for sure. I am dodging a bullet because much of this keurig cup.inventory was already in place.
I remember buying 3 tins $8.99 when I heard prics were going up thinking that was stocking up. You go through it so fast. Now I'm testing to see how little I can put in to make a proper 4 cups of coffee. Used to be 2 heaping scoops and I didn't worry about it. But that was $8.99 coffee. I just bough the big 1 pound 14 oz Duncan for $24.

$13.99 for Kroger about the same weight. Just looked it up. It was $12.99 yesterday. Prices are going up.

Yeah, **** it. Roll back the tariffs. Let China and everyone else make our stuff. I mean, what could go wrong?
Strategically bring back things you want to bring back. Don't tariff everyone and everything. Unintended consequences? Over estimated his position? Seems like a lot of Republicans did that. You guys said China would give in first. Are you kidding? American voters are going to endure pain? Not like Chinese people. The Chinese government by the way, won't raise prices on their people. The people will not suffer unless you want to go to real war. Then they will be forced to suffer. You American Conservatives bite off more than you can chew.

Don't get me started. I compare Trump to Hitler but Hitler attacked the entire world with war. Trump attacked everyone with tariffs. Now the world conspires against US?

Don't think I'm happy about it but told you so. The guys an idiot. All China had to do was cut us off of rare earth. So maybe be a lot more strategic.

BTW, India was our back up to China but Trump attacked them too. He even drove Japan into China's arms. They hate each other. Trump is a uniter in the middle east. There go more customers.

We told you so!!! We sell a lot of shit to the rest of the world and buy a lot of cheap shit from them. You got duped by dumb rich guys just like when Bush duped you. Even Reagan. Stop falling for it. You're in the labor party now.

Besides decades of flourishing economies, thanks to global trade?
We have been on the short end of that stick for decades. But whats worse, is we are losing our ability to build things. I don't think TV's have been built in the US in decades. A small amount of cell phones are made here. What happens if the world ends up in another war?

Manufacturing is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to national security. If Americans have to pay more, so be it.

In 1999, U.S. auto industry employment saw over 1.1 million workers in key sectors, with Motor Vehicle Parts manufacturing peaking at around 799,000
As of late 2025, US auto manufacturing employment hovers around 1 million workers
U.S. population in 1999 was around 272 million

The U.S. population in 2024 reached around 340.1 million

Yes, it is accurate that auto workers generally do not earn as much as they used to, particularly when factoring in inflation and the loss of long-term benefits

Let me give you one more examples. Teachers. They don't make what they used to

4 million teachers.

But from 1978 to now CEO pay went up 1322%

My brother was a VP of HR for a fortune 500. In 5 years his pay went up from $500K to $1 million. I remember him getting mad at me for being honest and saying that's not right. He inists he deserves it. Of course he and his buddies decide what raises they all get. And what you get. And in all these years their pay skyrocketed and yours and mine only 18%. Facts.

Not sure what this has to do with my posts?

Slow down. What jobs do you want to bring home? What products do you want to manufacture only in America? I think smarter people than you and Trump have already negotiated all this. Trump's trying to impress you and force other countries to buy more American products, when they don't want to buy more American products. And he's making their products unaffordable but we want to buy their stuff. You guys aren't strategic at all about anything.

DOGE, you just used a hatchet. Inappropriate. That's not how things work. Blow it all up and put back only what is necessary. Meanwhile people suffer.

Start a trade war and do it against everyone. Which means they are now boycotting American products. You guys want to only buy American? Then they won't want to buy anything American. We do a lot of business with the rest of the world.

I'm going to stop rambling. Let me just leave you with this analogy. You go to your barber every month and give him $25 for a haircut right? But he never spends any money with you. Do you have a trade imbalance? No. That's a free market.

NOW, there are certain things we should only buy at home. If it's vital to our economy. I say car manufacturing is vital.

BUT, since you mofos don't want to invest or make ecars, why don't you just let those Chinese cars in that only cost $10K? Let them compete against your beautiful gas cars. Some people only need the $10K vehicle. Come on Republicans. Show us you're not just the status quo and all talk.

Thats a silly lie.

I'm guessing you, like the economically illiterate president, dont actually understand what trade deficits are.
Even CNN says inflation is under control. You have nothing to complain about.

CNN has been taken over. Forget about CNN. For once we agree, don't listen to that fake news.

CNN has made several significant new anchor and host hires recently as part of a programming shake-up.

Elex Michaelson He was previously an anchor at Fox's L.A. affiliate

currently a major corporate battle for Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) (CNN's parent company), with Paramount Global (via Skydance) making a hostile takeover bid for WBD, which WBD's board is rejecting, favoring a different deal with Netflix{/nav} for WBD's studio/streaming assets, creating uncertainty for CNN as ownership changes loom and political figures like Donald Trump express strong opinions on CNN's future.

Trump's involved? No Truth will come out of CNN for at least 3 years.

$2.39 at Kwik Trip, but the gas is lousy, full of water.
The cheapest place I got has it pretty cheap. I haven't checked recently.

Most recently I had 30 cents a gallon off at Kroger. So I paid $2.55. That means it was $2.85. I'm not mad at anything under $3.

Are Republicans going to blame Trump when gas prices go up? So why give him credit if/when they go down? It seems like its a way he can't lose and sometimes wins. But can't lose. It's bullshit.

Trump didn't win 312 electoral votes with 35 percent support. But keep kidding yourself, you couldn't POSSIBLY be wrong.
Trump now has a 35% approval rating. Let's say he won 51 to 50%. That 51 is down to 35%. If the election were right now the Democrat would win 65% to 35%.

We give Trump credit for duping independents and undecideds. But the gig is up. Trump can tell us next year prices are going to go down but he can't tell us this year prices weren't up. He is so obviously cherry picking and lying. You've become used to it so you don't even care when he does it. See it's you who's brainwashed. You have TDS not us.

Last evening president Donald Trump ranted to the nation about his achievements in the last eleven months. He was tense and seemed upset, likely because of falling poll numbers and unfavorable economic reports. It was more of a scolding and seemed out of place. Thoughts?

President Trump was reading from what I think with 99% certainty a Stephen Miller speech. So it sounded like Stephen Miller and not like Trump. That was a mistake I think. There was none of Trump's human side or humor. The purpose of the speech was to give assurance to Americans that things were getting done.

It accomplished that but not in any useful way as all Trump supporters know pretty much what is getting done. And it didn't address most things most of us wanted him to address.

But scolding America? No way. That didn't happen.

And while pretty much a waste of time, I think no harm was done. Within a week the media and TDS infected will find something else to misrepresent, mischaracterize, or use as dishonest propaganda.

It's just going to get worse.

A man with a wound on his hand for months which has not healed, and who needed an emergency MRI, and who has been making statements which are bizarre even for him, is not going to improve.

It's all rapidly deteriorating mental decline from here.
I highlighted your lies for you in orange.

The green statement is true only when applied to liberals like you.
