I cannot speak to this but ultimately he realizes he burned all of his political capital when he attacked Iran. He had used some deference in the first attack but as it was quick, successful and with little response from Iran, it did not hurt him politically. The success in Venezuela just reinforced this military dominance and Trump was legitimately a popular president, taking on China, enforcing much needed tariffs etc.

There is alot of pressure being president and if he has second thoughts about his decision to attack Iran without a better plan on the ground to replace the regime and make it a success, I imagine it will be expressed from time to time.

He entered the second term on an immense high, especially as those who advocated for him were approved in his administration, a minor miracle in itself. True MAGA behind him in his administration and the Establishment were weakened. DOGE was another very popular campaign. Some of that has changed since those first six months or so.

First the Big Beautiful Bill which upset Musk and some of the fiscal hawks. Then the Epstein files became a big issue, almost certainly promoted by the Neo-Cons to hurt his presidency. Now Iran.

It has since been a challenge. It would be for any president. Consider how the Iranian regime feels. Their military is largely defeated and they are on the losing end of a blockade. The midterms is the only hope for them and China.

If Trump decides he has been betrayed by the Neo-Cons in his party, they may find themselves on the wrong side of an endorsement of their opponents. This is his wild card which he can play at any time.

For now it is just expressing himself on Truth Social. A social media company that was only needed due to the corruption within twitter among others, let's not forget.

Trump has been shit talking China since he rode his lazy ass down the escalator. But he learned the hard way a few days ago over there that they're not taking his shit anymore.

China has billions of barrels of oil in storage. Trump better pray that we don't need to import from them thanks to his Iran f**kup because if we do we're going to pay a premium for it.

The shit is about to get real by mid-July, mid-summer heat waves & vacationers on the highways & in the air. But don't take my word for it. CEO'S of Exxon & Chevron are predicting exactly that.

That was an insane 6 hours of nonsense from the president... not a wacko actor like Randy Quad.. but the president. I really dont get how you Trump supporters sit there unconcerned. What I like is how they rationalize the craziness because the Presidency comes with a lot of pressure. As if the blob was the first president to ever have the weight of world events on his shoulders. Of course Nearly 100% of the events that have been added to the already awesome burden of the office are things he’s decided to do for reasons that pass any legitimate reason (Iran, tariffs, healthcare systems in stress and nearing collapse, inflation, economic malaise).
