How about you Google "FEMA trailers Katrina" and tell us how effective they are at providing shelter.

FEMA picked up 145,000 trailers for Katrina and Rita. If not for FEMA who would have provided shelter for all these displaced persons? No one. Not that there were no issues with these trailers, but FEMA provided these people with a home when they had no place else to go.

*I also lost a bunch of relatives who were buried there and their remains floated away when the cemetery flooded but thats a creepy other story.

I dunno, what about tornados, floods, tsunamis, and earthquakes? I think FEMA has it's uses but FWA ought to be vigilantly opposed. One wonders if Trump has the authority to phase out FEMA. You can bet some federal judge somewhere will rule that he can't do that under existing law.

FLP provided power and repaired the infrastructure. FLDot repaired the roads and bridges.

LIke I said. Only saw Fema once. After Milton. No damage here from anything but storm surge. Fema paid people to go door to door and explain how to apply for government money if you didn't have flood insurance. We had flood insurance, and they disappeared faster that Speedy Gonzales when the ICE van rounds the corner.

The party in power would also keep an eye on funds. Progs have turned Maryland deep blue and Virginia purple trending blue due to endless government employees. Does D.C. even get electoral votes to give to the Progs? Progs have slowly turned red states purple and blue. Keep sending the private side money to red states though from Prog ones.

Problem is that nobody knows where a disaster will hit.
FEMA was formed to consolidate resources and expertise to send them where and when they are needed
