Well, in this case it's because it doesn't look good for Trump to accept this expensive gift from a foreign nation that sponsors Islamic terrorism.
He should firmly tell them no, he's not for sale.

Because he should not accept this expensive gift. Accepting it violates the Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution.
Trump took a vow to uphold and defend the Constitution on innauguration day. Of course he failed to put his hand on the Bible so maybe his oath didn't count.

The hand on the Bible is moot. Fact check: Does it matter that Donald Trump didn’t put his hand on the Bible during his oath of office? Read the second to the last paragraph. "The US Constitution does not require it". I'd find you a lot more sources, but I need to get to church.
