Trump repeats his admission that he had “no choice” but to cave to the Iranian blackmail

Which makes no sense either. Where was the other global leaders in all this??? Both in the fight and in the peace deal??
Another point is what other country imports anything from Iran? China is the biggest importer or Iran oil, but China hasn't been involved in any of it. So the US had to 'clean up it's own mess' to benefit China. This is worse than I thought
Exactly.
The US had a new lane thru Hormuz closer to Oman but the chikin-sh!t ship owners refused to send their ships thru even though no Iran weapons made it past the US escorts. Similarly, our gutless NATO"allies" refused to help escort ships thru Hormuz even though they need the oil from Hormuz. So Iran outlasted Trump this round, but the war is not over because the details are not "finalized". Trump had to hold his nose and sign the MOU to open Hormuz to keep the global economy afloat.

Of course the Theatre will continue once the US and Israel Terrorist Groups have been able to overcome reserve shortages .

And Trumpfy needs at least one more Act to ensure that everything is in place for the collapse of the Petro Dollar .
Don't worry yourself about Tehran.
Like all countries that have been invaded by America , they know that they will simply further strengthen their strategic position as we all watch the American Empire slowly sink .

There is apparently one thing that tops Zionism in the United States...the economy.
That is why Trump made those statements about oil prices and inflation.
In his mind, there was always a timeline. He knew when the oil reserves would get critically low. He knew when Europe would hit its point of no return in fuel stockpiles.
He had a date, that fight.
If Israel hadn't achieved their goal by that time. It was curtains on the whole thing.
It's ALWAYS "The economy, stupid."
Not saying that Trump still didn't fk us. I'm also not saying that it wasn't the most MORONIC decision by an American president, probably EVER. However, it's nice to know he wouldn't let the whole ship go down, unlike the Zionists and their Neoclown supporters.

The change in talking points is astonishing. A few weeks ago it was that it doesn’t matter if the SoH opens and we have all the leverage.

Now Trump basically admits Tehran blackmailed him into giving everything they wanted because they controlled the strait. Which btw incentivizes them to keep increasing their demands using same leverage.

He finally, FINALLY started listening to people when they said this is going to crash the economy. And it was, and it IS. Sane people do not want Iran to have nukes but he never sold any kind of story on this to the public before he just went all-in. Big mistake. And now basically he's eating crow over it, and too close to the midterms to repair the damage.

But he won the war how many months ago.

And the MAGA crowd will still be unable to see it for what it is. Even Marathon Mike went from "this is a really bad deal" to "well, Trump will do something in two month, bomb them to kingdom come" or some wet dream of theirs like that.

This doesn't make much sense. Correct me if I'm wrong but the US is not dependent on Iran for anything, so what do we care if the Straight is closed or not. That also translates to how can Iran blackmail US into this deal if they don't have anything for us???
For some reason, despite Trump proclaiming that America is the Net Exporter of Oil & Gas in the World,... America does import oil from the Sunni Nations. And, for some reason,.... An Extremely large amount of Fertilizer, & other chemicals, is also exported to America, from the Sunni Nations.

All of that leaves the Strait of Hormuz, which is why, it has to stay open.

Trump said he didn't need NATO tho.

About 25% of seaborne oil passes through the SOH. About 20% of total global oil production.

About 50% or Urea, 23% of Amonia, 50% of sulfur - all vital components of modern fertilizers used in agriculture.

"not dependent" is an ambigious term. The US operates as part of a global ecomonmy.

Shut down 20-25% of oil on the market reduces supply, reduction in supply increases prices of all petrolum based products.

Shut down 23-50% of vital materials used in fertilizer, and food production goes down and food prices go up.

The global market his a HUGE impact on affordability.

"But the US is not dependent on Iran for anything" is the same level of costly ignorance Trump and admin possess.

He destroyed the Iranian nuclear program, their military, and three layers of their top leadership. That’s a big win for the U.S., Israel and the entire world.

So we must grovel to their demands with such a victory.

The Iranians are doing the groveling. Trump has choked whatever has been left of their economy. That’s why they’re giving up the uranium and giving us complete control of their economy, idiot.

Trump has no uranium from Iran in his possession; it is in Iran.

And the same or similar was said when Russia/Ukraine war escalated in 2022, atleast about the availability and costs of fertilizers. Which then impacted crops and livestock feed, that cattle ranchers had to cull many of their herds.......which drove up the cost of beef because it can take 4 to 6 years or more to recover the herds and supply the market.

IOW, regardless of who is in office by 28, the cost and availability of food supply will go up even further

You're not an idiot so stop pretending to be one.

So if I'm the idiot, then atleast answer the question instead of name calling, heh?

What does the US need Iran for? If we can get the same or similar from elsewhere??
