The American people should be alarmed that President Trump is sending Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner and not a State Department professional team to the big meeting with the Iranian Foreign Minister to try to break the impasse with the closing of Strait of Hormuz and the U.S. blockade issues; the alarm should be because the American people now cannot be sure of the truth that the Iran delegation is communicating to the Trump administration and this truth may be important because the world is at a precarious place in this conflict if hostilities heat back up the oil and natural gas and related infrastructure could be the casualty and this loss could send the world into a significant recession! President Trump's trait for telling the truth is abysmal he in essence is not a trustworthy leader; he tells a story that before the Iran war there was of course negotiations on Iran's nuclear program and President Trump said Steve Witkoff told him that on the first negotiation meeting one key Iranian negotiator told Steve that Iran was weeks away from possessing a nuclear weapon! That was obviously not true because Iran's enriched uranium is in gaseous form and to make a nuclear bomb the uranium gas would have to be converted into uranium metal and Iran doesn't have the facilities to do that!
I suspect that the Iran government wants to meet with the Trump administration to tell them that if America keeps up this blockade that prevents Iran from exporting oil it will long term damage our oil producing fields since we are at the cap of our oil storage capacity we will have to shutter the wells which will damage the fields meaning we won't be able to turn back oil production to the levels that pre-existed before the shuttering when we need to and we, the Iran Government cannot let that occur without seeking justice meaning that if our oil infrastructure is damaged we will damage the infrastructure of America's Persian Guld allies, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates which will create a world-wide shortage of oil which will drive the price of oil up to world-wide recession levels. The Iran government will tell the Trump Administration emphatically that there is no ifs, ands or buts if the Trump Administration continues with this blockade it is going to trigger a circular firing squad amongst Persian Gulf oil producing nations and destroy a twenty percent supplier of the world's oil. If this is the case the Iran government should come out to the International Press and say this so that the American people can know their government is taking deliberate action to cause a catastrophe in the oil markets which will cause a deep world-wide recession.
This whole Iran war matter shows one glaring quality of Donald Trump which makes him unfit to be President he has this quality about him where he ignores reality he ignores the world around him as it is where a good person would not ignore what he ignores Donald Trump lives in a world he wants even though it doesn't exist! One important example President Trump keeps saying that the Iranian government is in disarray it is not really clear who is in charge there is this big split and depending on who wins that will determine whether we can reach a peace did so America must keep up the pressure to bring about the right side winning! That is delusional, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC) is in charge technically the Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is but he was severely wounded in a recent bombing where he is disfigured where he needs plastic surgery and is an amputee having lost a leg so he isn't practically running day-to-day operations of the country but he is strongly allied with the IRGC there is no daylight there remember the IRGC had a hand in his selection as Supreme Leader. So there is no leadership crisis in Iran the hard line IRGC is still in control following the line of a hardline Supreme Leader meaning the Trump Administration is not going to get any more than the Obama administration got with the JCPOA Iran is not going to give up its right to enrich uranium they will agree to not enrich above five percent like the JCPOA mandated but that is it. This past Thursday President Trump said Iran offered to fully open the Strait in exchange for the lifting of the blockade and my staff wanted me to accept the deal but I said no because without the blockade I would lose my leverage to get a nuclear weapon deal President Trump your staff is one-hundred percent right take the deal because there is no way on God's green earth that you are getting the nuclear deal you want from Iran!
Another example of Trump living in a world where he ignores wide swaths of reality in the actual world is in Iraq this past week or so Trump stopped shipments of U.S. dollars to the Iraq banking system which they need to run their economy and which has been going on for over twenty years because Trump is using these shipment as leverage to get the Iraq government to disband the Iranian allied militias in Iraq. Trump is an idiot on policy for Iraq and is liable to end up hurting America's interests. Iraq is a fragile society it is a majority Shiite country with a history of terrible discrimination toward Sunnis, Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki (2005-2010) was outright anti-Sunni and his oppression caused the rise of the Islamic State. Further, there is strong anti-American Shiite leaders in Iraq the cleric Muqtada al Sadr maybe not so much today but back around 2010 this influential leader was pushing for Iraq to become like a province of Iran; the point being President Trump should not be doing what he is doing the Iraq government does not have the political or military power to disband the Iraq Shiite militias President very well may end up driving Iraq to be a closer ally to Iran like in the category of the Houthis and Hezbollah!
I don't think President Trump realizes the political danger he is in if he either gets us in a ground war in Iran (securing the Strait) which means American soldiers dying almost every day or causes massive destruction of oil infrastructure in the Persian Gulf leading to a world-wide recession I can envision Republican House members re-registering as independents and caucusing with the Democrats causing Hakeem Jeffries to become Speaker and Hakeem is one hell of a smart guy he is going to immediately begin the process of gathering evidence of impeachment crimes by President Trump he will be smart and don't hold the impeachment vote until shortly after the new House is sworn in 2027 so the impeachment can fly through Congress like wham-bam but by that time he will have a mountain of evidence and organized like he is a mad genius of organization and the vast vast vast majority of Americans will learn and believe Donald Trump committed multiple impeachable crimes and deserved to be impeached and he will be impeached!
