I'm sorry but Obama and Biden were not hostile to you. But I get why you feel that way. You feel like just like the Republicans, the Democrats also turned their backs on you.
I don't believe Democrats want illegals in for their votes. I think like the GOP serves corporations, so do Democrats. And those corporations love the status quo of allowing illegals in to flood the market to lower wages. But I promise you they (The GOP) will tweek legal immigration and interest rates in order to keep wages where they want them too. It's just easier to fight that than it is illegal immigrants. And illegals really keep the prices/wages low, so I see why both sides loved the status quo.
So I see why you think Democrats stabbed you in the back TOO on the illegal worker issue. Just remember Republicans did too. Probably more so than Democrats. You just don't remember because Trump pulled a jeti mind trick on you and he took the illegal immigrant issue from us liberals. Because we stopped making that argument. Yes, I get it how the Democrats failed you/us. I truly do. I see how/why you are so easily duped. And yes, may as well try this than the status quo.
But I don't know. The status quo was pretty good except for one thing. American corporations/CEO's aren't paying us workers enough. Meanwhile they got rich as **** sending jobs overseas and they're getting rich as **** bringing jobs home now too. They can't lose.
Don't forget under Biden you uneducated blue collar workers got big raises because you went on strike. WITH the presidents support. We know Trump doesn't support unions. So one day you're going to sadly disappointed. After all this you had to go on strike and to find out Donald is not with you. Republicans are against organized labor. No seat at the table for you pal.
President
Trump on Monday threatened to dock pay for air traffic
controllers missing work during the government shutdown.
Why it matters: The air traffic control system,
already strained before the government shutdown, faces more pressure as the record-breaking funding lapse continues
Driving the news: "For those that did nothing but complain, and took time off, even though everyone knew they would be paid, IN FULL, shortly into the future, I am NOT HAPPY WITH YOU," Trump
wrote on Truth Social.
- He said he'd recommend bonuses of $10,000 to each controller who didn't take any time off during the shutdown.
Context: Air traffic controllers, who have been working without pay, have
increasingly been absent from their posts during the government shutdown.
- Between 15 and 20 air traffic controllers have retired per day during the shutdown — up from about four per day, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said Sunday during an interview on CNN's "State of the Union."
Zoom out: The callouts were not part of an organized pressure campaign — something the union would not condone — Nick Daniels, president of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, said during a Monday news conference.
