Trump posts an image of what is apparently his entire administration.

In 1978, the average 30-year fixed mortgage interest rate was approximately 9.64%, and a low-income family without a down payment would have likely faced even higher rates, possibly in the double digits or through subprime lending options that were less common at the time. It is difficult to determine the precise rate without more specific information, but rates were on the rise due to high inflation during the "Great Inflation".

Okay you made me call him. 12% is what he paid. My bad. But yes, it got as high as 20%.
I know how high it went, you just make up shit and pretend it’s real.

Apple prices are up 9.6% compared to last year

Why the **** would American made apples be up 10%?

So you are paying more for everything pal. Wake up and smell the.

While meat, seafood, and coffee are up in price, so are staple fruits and vegetables. Here are seven produce items shoppers say are suddenly too pricey.

YOu made points. Some valid. I addressed them all seriously and honestly.

You dropped all of that to spam a negative factoid.

Your opposition is emotional and irrational.

I think that back in the late 70s, or early 80s, you identified as one of the cool kids, and was a rebel and edgy and against the boring old white guy, ie REAGAN, perhaps for valid reasons.

But today, you are unable to deal with the fact that those reasons don't apply anymore. The dems are now teh party fighting to hold on to REAGAN'S trade policy and you are emotionally invested in being on the "right side of history".

So, you are stuck and unable to adjust to the changing reality. YOu are living in the past.

And a faulty past, as shown with your strange hostility to working class people, especially whites.

CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale on Wednesday broke down why Donald Trump simply can’t be trusted when it comes to his bombastic spin on inflation, grocery prices or affordability.

The president has repeatedly downplayed — and at times flat-out dismissed — the cost-of-living crisis, falsely insisting that prices are “way down” substantially under his administration.

But most of “Trump’s claims about prices these days are just not true,” Dale said on “News Central.”
“None of that is true,” Dale responded to one montage of Trump’s declarations.

Prices have increased during Trump’s second term and that inflation has risen every month. As for Trump’s claim that gas prices have “plummeted,” Dale corrected the record to note they are roughly the same as a year ago.

Trump's advisors tell him it's a bad idea to deny reality.

Prices are down Trump said. Substantially.

Everyone knows things are less expensive under Trump he said.

None of that is true. So why should I believe you or the liar you defend?

Dude. It's not about TRUSTING Trump, it is about TRUSTING THE DEMS, to keep doing the same old thing, ie REAGAN'S trade policy.

They've been doing it now, though all of Clinton's terms, and Obama's terms and Biden's term.

You can trust that they will/would have continued to do that policy that you were against way back when and are still against now.

OR you could try the guy that says he is going to try to change that.

That you refuse to admit this, and respect it, is you...being willfully blind.

I will note that you managed to NOT insult me, or working class whites as a group, this post, so that's, again,, ONCE in a row.

Maybe you can keep it up a bit longer this time.

I read this article and thought of you.

Tim Dillon this weekend pulled no punches with his opinion of where Donald Trump and his presidency are at right now.
The podcaster, a member of the online “manosphere” that was partially credited with propelling Trump to victory in the 2024 election, on Sunday declared: “This is end of the Trump administration.”

The stark assessment came during a monologue about Trump’s recent defense of H-1B visas for high-skilled foreign workers in an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, when the president claimed America didn’t have enough talented people to fill specialized jobs.

“Let’s look at Trump here,” said Dillon on the latest episode of “The Tim Dillon Show.” “I do think, unfortunately, this, this kind of is the end of, and I say unfortunately not because I care, truly, but I say unfortunately because it seems to not be doing anything good for anyone.”

Last week Donald Trump and my brother both tried to gaslight me. They both told us that prices are going down. We know that's not true. So why would you believe a liar like this when he says his plan is going to start working in 2 years? Or next year? I don't want to insult you, but are you dumb?

He has a pretty good team I'd say. A good balance of people who defend American values and others who look to improve Americas trade imbalances etc.

There are 17 billionaires in the Trump Administration, including Trump.

And they all care very deeply about us.

Kelly Loeffler is often listed at 5 feet 11, but looks a lot taller there. Seems like well over six feet in that pic.

Are there any in the room with you right now?

My brother is rich. My nephew is going to law school. He will be well off. He brought a friend with him to hunting camp this weekend. When my nephew told him I was a liberal Democrat, he couldn't believe it. He looked at me and said "really"? I said listen kid. I've been a registered Democrat my entire adult life.....but I'm saving up to be a Republican".

He laughed and said "ain't that the truth".

You know what I liked about this kid? His dad was a slacker swim coach. His mom fucked the diving coach and had him. They got married but then divorced. His grandfather started BMW dealerships. Rich family. His mother had to give his dad $12 million in the divorce.

I love it. Women are always the ones who benefit like this from a divorce. Why shouldn't the loser husband get half just like all the loser ex wives do?

Most rich women make men sign pre nups. But if a guy asks a woman to sign one, she says "if you really loved me you wouldn't ask".

Loeffler's net worth is estimated to be around $1 billion. Her wealth comes from her business career, including her previous role at Intercontinental Exchange where her husband, Jeffrey Sprecher, is the chair of the New York Stock Exchange.

She was also born with a silver spoon in her mouth like Trump

She financed her graduate school tuition by mortgaging land inherited from her grandparents.

Who? A podcaster? That’s where you get your news now from podcasters? It that a step up or down from getting advice from comedy show like you used to?

As opposed to Biden or Harris who don’t give a **** about us? Sorry, I see no difference between the two, they both want our money.

Yea, just keep poo pooing all the podcasters who EVERYONE knows helped Trump win. All those idiots endorsed Trump.

And forget about this guy. I've never heard of him either. How about Joe Rogan? Lots of people think he could be POTUS one day. Now he's admitting Trump is gaslighting us on the Epstein file.

And Bill Maher used that same term when speaking about prices. When Trump says no prices are down he's gaslighting us. You do acknowledge that right? Not yet? Okay.

Never heard of Rogan until last year and never have I listened to him. So he doesn’t influence me, but few do.

I never thought Trump would reduce prices, inflation is what it is and if he gets away with it and sends everyone a $2000 check, he is going to add to inflation. I don’t get politicians and how they ***** about a problem and then turn around and make it worse. The $2000 a person needs to go to pay down debt.

Not the point. Doesn't matter what moves you. What moved a lot of young white men were all these lying podcasters. Or idiot podcasters who before Trump "were never into politics". Trump got them into politics. And they liked the things he was saying. Now like Rogan, they are seeing he duped them. So I was right.

Now they see he's gaslighting us on the Epstein files and the economy

Trump is trying to will lower prices into existence. It won’t work

I never thought Trump would do any of the things he said he would either. What about increasing blue collar wages by running illegals out? What about increasing blue collar wages by bringing manufacturing home? Both sound good but I'm not buying it. They're already talking about letting more legal immigrants in. And increasing HB1 visas.

Yes, I agree. Republicans talked a lot of shit last year but like you, I knew they were full of shit.
