Arguments in that appeal are set for June 24.

Different appeal. They just rejected Trump's appeal of the first verdict.
June 24 are arguments to appeal the second verdict.
Two different, but related cases, Carroll I and Carroll II.
We'll see how that one pans out.

His comments were mostly on social media and on TV. Again, his comments were pretty much just that, denial and maybe a few snide name calls, but where is the defamation?

Personal attacks (saying she's a whack job) is not defamation. Likely petty and uncalled for, but not defamation.

Trump is in the perfect position to release any files indicating Reid's claims were credible. Why won't he release them?

What files? There was never an investigation. And did you know that Tara too, told someone about the incident when it happened? But nobody wanted to believe her...for some reason..hmm

You should look up what was said at trial. It' pretty dumb to try to relitigate it at this point, an a silly discussion board is a really dumb place to try.

Juries now have twice awarded Carroll huge sums for Donald Trump claiming she made up a story about him attacking her in a department store dressing room in 1996 to help her sell a memoir.

It looks like the whole thing around defamation is him simply denying it. Imagine what kind of feeling that must be, to have been wrongly convicted by someone who couldn't prove her allegation, and then every time you say "it never happened!", that same person sues you for defamation.
Again, the whole thing is just messed up.
Answer me this, if she was so distraught and horrified by the ordeal, why did she take to social media 16 years later abd ask if people would have sex with trump for money? That doesnt make sense for someone who was raped by the man, does it?
She said she only told a couple if friends. What about her family, other people she worked with? If she had been raped, she must have been emotionally drained. Thats something people would have noticed, yet nobody seemed interested? Nobody came forward in the trial with statements like "yeah, around that time, she was really depressed and down". But nothing like that. Nobody pressed the issue, so....either she was a fantastic actress...or, she wasnt really upset around that time.
Again, it just doesnt add up. And here's the thing, what I just presented to you was a ton more evidence than what she came with. She came with a story a couple friends who claimed she told them about it...
And it beard repeating...if she had proof, id be on your side calling trump out. But she had nothing.
