ISIS was never real.
They were secular Sunni that the US decided to release from POW camps all at once, and they suddenly had arms and new Toyota trucks.
Plus not a single Islamic cleric was on their side.
So where did they get all these arms and new trucks?
I would bet from the CIA annex in Benghazi where Ambassador Stevens was handing them out.

There were no "conditions laid out for the withdraw".
To get something out of the Taliban, we would have had to have given them something, and we didn't.
We could have and should have, but no one did that.
