Trump goes after Sessions over GOP congressmen indictments

Why is Jeff Sessions firing off hurried, frivolous charges against GOP supporters of Trump right before the midterm election?
Who says they are hurried and frivolous?

There's you, citing yourself.....and....

?

LMFAO!!!!

Every AG in recent memory, including dyky Janet Reno, waited until AFTER elections to indict politicians running for office.

Why is Swampy Jeff not even following that?

Those indictments of Hunter and Collins, they were hatched when DEEP STATE DOJ types went over expense accounts and tax returns. If they did that for every member of Congress, every member of Congress would be indicted too. They CHOSE to pick on the supporters of Trump. Why?

Or.....you're offering us your imagination backed by nothing. And the indictments were based on evidence, including calls from the White House lawn urging his son to sell shares

An indictment released Wednesday alleges that Collins, 68, scrambled to call his son from the White House lawn and share information with him about a failed drug trial, and that his son and others then sold stock based on that tip before the trial results became public.

Collins' son, Cameron Collins, 25, as well as the father of his fiancee, Stephen Zarsky, 66, were also charged, according to the court filing. All three pleaded not guilty on Wednesday and will be released on $500,000 bond. Collins now must surrender his diplomatic passport and firearms within 14 days.

New York GOP Rep. Chris Collins pleads not guilty to insider trading

According to the indictment, the board of Innate found out that an MS drug they had been testing failed its tests on June 22nd. Christopher Collins called his son Cameron Collins with the non-public information on the night of June 22nd.

First thing the next morning (Friday June 23rd)
, his son started selling all his shares (a full 2.3% of the entire company).....putting in a total of 36 sell orders between that Friday and the market close on Monday June 26th.

On June 26th after the close of trading, minutes AFTER Cameron Collins had finished selling nearly a million shares, the failed test results were made public and the stock lost 92% of its value. With Cameron Collins' early sale protecting him from over $750,000 in losses.

They have phone calls, texts and emails backing this up. The evidence is striking, the time line overwhelming.

But you're not arguing the evidence, as you've never looked into it. Nor do you care what the evidence shows. You've imagined your own narrative, made up completely by you.

Conservatives in general tend to favor the wasteland of their own imagination over the evidence of the world around them. For anyone actually interested in the evidence.....here's the indictment:
