FDR also instituted wage and price controls on the working poor to keep them poor and the price of food high.

FDR also dragged the USA into a war that had nothing to do with US national security, killing half a million Americans

FDR reinstituted slavery to fight that war. Conscription is a particularly egregious, sadistic and evil form of slavery. FDR enslaved millions of innocent Americans.

Kennedy saved the world in that regard. From what I have read, Kennedy was surrounded by war hawks who wanted to invade Cuba. What the U.S. didn't know at the time was that those nuclear missiles in Cuba had Cubans ready to push the buttons to launch. Not Russians. Which if we invaded Cuba is just what would have happened.
