Consumer confidence rose sharply last month. Income growth is outpacing rent increases. Consumer spending is strong, helped by tax cuts, and inflation is a decent 3%.

When we pay more for fuel we charge more to transport. That cost is passed on to YOU, the consumer. Your costs are rising because of this.

No those 8 gallons cost me 32 bucks. DEF is 4 dollars a gallon for big trucks. We buy it in bulk. It used to be 2.79 for YEARS (Obama 2.0 and Trump 1.0) until Biden. Then it went up to 4.50 then down to about 4 under Trump 2.0.

But that 200 gallons of diesel cost me 1000.

I drive the lower 48.

Fuel taxes have not gone up since the war started, and pre-war in late Feb 26 I was finding diesel under 3 dollars a gallon at most truck stops south of i-40.

Right before the war I fueled my car for 2.39 a gallon. When I last checked that same station is 4.28.

I just came out of Cali. I fueled up with 6 dollar a gallon diesel in AZ so I didn't have to fuel with CA's 7.50 a gallon diesel.

No, they went WAY up under Biden, they just didn't come down under Trump. 9% inflation for Biden is prices going WAY up. Inflation is under 3% right now. Let's see how long that lasts.
