Trump easily wins debate. Should skip rest of debates

You're kidding right? The entire academic community and news media in the US are a bunch of radical leftists acting as the propaganda arm of the Democrat party, out to produce even more radical leftists like themselves by brainwashing the public. Fox is the only thing that's standing in their way.

There is no objective news any longer. All the news anchors, journalists and commentators today are political activists who are graduates of extremely liberal leftist colleges that make their way into the media industry.

No, not kidding. Are YOU kidding? You're talking complete nonsense.

You even contradict yourself. If "The entire.... news media in the US are a bunch of radical leftists" then how come Fox News can stand in their way?

The reality, if you decided to look at it, is there are quite a lot of right wing reporters out there.

The problem for you is that many reporters are people with BRAINS. And people who use their brains often THINK. And people who think are far less likely to be further to the right than center right.

"There is no objective news any longer" Was there ever objective news? Newspapers are often controlled by people who have an agenda and the reporters are controlled by the newspapers.

The problem is, I don't think you understand how they control people like you. You can look all over this board and see people who have been totally controlled by one part of the media or the other.
Your "the media is totally controlled by leftists" sounds like just that sort of thing.

And again, all news anchors are this or that or the other. PROVE IT. You're just writing stuff, nothing to back yourself up with. Also, I doubt you ever will back yourself up. Backing yourself up might require that you FACE THE TRUTH.

The truth is undeniable. FOX news is the only outlet that isn't part of the left wing media machine. Like I said, the left has a pretty good set up, they control academia and the media and pretend to be objective. No such thing as objectivity in the media and especially academia. In most universities, no student dares espouse a conservative view without fear of being ostracized and / or victimized for their views. So many of them just pretend because they know better.

If you think otherwise then you aren't living in the real world.

The ONLY outlet. Are you sure about that? Or is this unfounded nonsense again?

Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News, also happens to own lots of other media outlets. I'd find it difficult to imagine him having Fox news being right wing and then other left wing media outlets.

The Wall Street Journal, for example, is owned by Murdoch.

Pitching Softballs

"Despite the frequent complaints of ā€œliberal bias,ā€ studies of presidential news coverage ā€” including Mark Hertsgaardā€™s On Bended Knee: The Press and the Reagan Presidency and Robert Entmanā€™s Democracy Without Citizensā€” suggest that the last two Democratic presidents received tougher media scrutiny that the last two Republicans."

"Have Washington reporters perhaps been intimidated by the GOPā€™s incessant charges of liberal bias?"

And this is what it's all about. Keep bleating on about a liberal media bias, that doesn't really exist, and you get an easier time for yourself. It helps deflect anything that comes up in "the liberal media".

You have to wonder why, with all the money the right wing have, I mean they have BILLION and BILLIONS of dollars, why they don't make any more media outlets that just (supposedly) Fox News. Why is Murdoch the ONLY (supposedly) right wing media owner? The answer is he isn't. However facts and the truth aren't really important here, are they? It's all about perception, and a lot of people are being brainwashed into thinking stuff simply because stuff is being repeated over and over and over again and they don't have a brain in order to counter this repetition.

This strategy has been acknowledged:

"In 1992, Republican National Chair Rich Bond acknowledged that intimidation is indeed a goal of media-bashing from the right: ā€œThere is some strategy to it,ā€ Bond told journalists at the Republic national convention in Houston. ā€œIā€™m a coach of kidā€™s basketball and Little League teams. If you watch any great coach, what they try to do is ā€˜work the refsā€™ [meaning the media]. Maybe the ref will cut you a little slack next time.ā€"

Get serious. Handful of news outlets is no match for all of academia and the media, which is overwhelmingly a left wing hit job. Regardless of who wins the presidential race, the left has a stranglehold on the messaging and most importantly the youth of this country.

You said there was one. Why did you say there was one? I'll hazard a guess. Because you don't actually know how many right wing media outlets there are in the US.
Then you said there were a handful. Why did you say there were handful? Because you don't actually know how many there are.

You say the left is in total control of the media. But then you say there's Fox and a handful of other media outlets. How can you be in total control, and yet not be in total control? You're not making sense.

Fox News is big. They hold the record for the largest every audience, which just happened to be a REPUBLICAN debate.
They also have a historic record for viewing figures

Fox News Nabs Historic Cable Ratings Victory

Scoreboard: Wednesday, Oct. 28

Here you have the number of people watching the four main news channels.

Fox News was at 712 compared to CNN 361, MSNBC at 221 and HLN at 143. This means that the other three had 725 and Fox had 712. It meant that almost HALF of the people were watching Fox.

So it doesn't matter how many news stations there are. It matters that people can, and do, choose to watch the news channel that has their FAVORED political bias.

Or are you saying that people are too stupid to change TV channels and end up watching a news channel they don't like?

It's funny, when it comes to crime, the individual is responsible for their actions. When it comes to watching the media, they're not responsible for their own actions. Or maybe it's just that you'll use any argument that is convenient for the position that you want to bleat.

Can you find anyone else who thinks that Fox getting nearly half of all major TV news viewers is a stranglehold for the left wing media? Seriously?

Trump should take control of the process and the end the current "debate" set up.

Everyone knows what his policies are. They are the opposite of the illegal alien butt monkey rubio.

You remind me of people who argue that the earth is flat. You are comparing practically all the major networks and their affiliates on TV, and all of academia which are drilling into our youth radical liberal ideology, to one "strong" cable outlet. Ya right. Keep kidding yourself. Today's Democrat party are modern day fascists.

You have back up NOTHING you have said.
You make statements that are almost nothing.

Now you're attacking me trying to claim something that, well, ironically, conservatives in the Catholic Church decided, for religious reasons, to pretend was more god like than reality.
Even today you see this sort of thing FROM THE RIGHT. The whole creationism lark, and the whole clerk who refuses to marry people and all that.

The reality is this, and I've said it again and again and you have refused time and and time and time again to discuss.

People can and do choose which network they watch. Half of them watch Fox. So, how you're trying to claim the left have a stranglehold on media I don't know. People are free to watch what they want.

Also, there's radio, there's internet, there's newspapers which also provide news too.

So, all in all there is no stranglehold and you've not even made a case for stranglehold and even when it is shown to you with evidence there is no stranglehold you ignore the evidence, you ignore the argument and come out with an attack.

Why won't you discuss what I've presented?
Why won't you back up your arguments?

Come on, it's not that hard for intelligent people......

Vote: Who won the Republican presidential debate?

**DRUDGE POLL** WHO WON THE 3RD REPUBLICAN DEBATE '16?

CNBC has him at 50% Drudge at 63%

These are no longer debates but media firing squads. Time for Trump to say he will no longer participate.

Not if he wants to win.

It's basic, if you want to win and you're already ahead you want to limit the time others have talking about what they would do... Debates center around the ones who poll the best before the debate. The current debates are not really debates.

BTW, fuck Trump, he's a scamy fuck who never had to work for anything. Work your way up is not the same as being handed millions. It's easy to create more wealth when you have lots of it.

Hey I'm not the only one who's saying it, majority of Americans think the media is biased towards liberals:

Majority in U.S. Continues to Distrust the Media, Perceive Bias

The majority of Americans (60%) also continue to perceive bias, with 47% saying the media are too liberal and 13% saying they are too conservative, on par with what Gallup found last year.

Okay, a lot of people are saying something. Must be true then, because people say it.

Er.....

Back to the Earth is flat. If enough people say it, does it become true?

But here's the thing. I'm not saying the media reports things in an unbiased manner. I don't trust the media.

We're not talking about this. We're talking about CONTROL by the left.

Fox News is biased. I mean, it's ridiculously biased. But it presents a different bias from other major news networks.

This is the point. Your argument was that the left wing media has a stranglehold on the minds of the people. Clearly not true.

What is true is that the media, all of it, the left, the right and in between, is playing the same team sport politics that you're playing.

The right say "the left are idiots" the left say "the right are idiots", and the news programs reinforce this.

Why? Because there are people who control US politics. They like the two party system because it's easy to know who to funnel money to, it's easy to have advertising, and it allows nonsense politics to get ahead of the real issues.

If you have more than two parties then parties become uncontrollable with money. Small parties can use the internet, gain popularity and say stuff those rich guys don't want you to hear.

In the US there are people like Rupert Murdoch who control part of the media, and others in charge of more liberal media, who are making sure their message gets heard and nothing else.

On a forum like this you'd expect people to be against BOTH SIDES, but it's just not happened. People like you will do the bidding of these rich people. You go to your biased news sources, which tell you what you want to hear, then you come on here and you spout of the same crap they're spouting off.
And there are people on the left doing exactly the same thing.

So here's the question.

Do you want to know the truth, or are you happy being played by the rich people?

FOX news came about as a result of the gradual stnanglehold of the left over the media. It has now gotten to a stage where non of the outlets including FOX, reports without bias or spin. Of course you have varying degrees, for example MSNBC are unabashedly radical whacko leftist whereas CNN pretends they are being objective. It has now gotten to the point where there is no such thing as objective news reporting any longer. They are all either biased or promoting one political agenda or another.

Well I agree with that. But that is a far cry from what you were saying earlier which is that the media is controlled by the left. Clearly is isn't.

However there is a massive problem in the US with political support essentially bought with cash spent on advertising, and on political bias in news reporting.

The moral of the story is, don't believe those mother fuckers in charge and don't vote for them either. Vote third party, doesn't matter who. Until a third and fourth party are viable options nothing will change.

Trump should create his tv show at the time of the next debate and see which gets more viewers.

Because this isn't about politics, it's about entertainment.
Some Trump supporters lack any critical thinking. Sarahgop is one of them. Trump may or may not be a good choice for potus but this cult of personality bullshit by some is absurd

SAYS THE OBAMA SUPPORTER.
If you think I'm a supporter of ANYONE from the left your dumber than the average leftard on this site.
