Trump: Coca-cola agrees to use real cane sugar in US drinks

Turns out one of Trump's major MAGA donors is a billionaire that owns Domino Sugar.

No one has pointed this out so I guess I'll put this out there: an important consideration in any cola is the container. The container has a huge impact on the flavor and taste. It isn't just whether they use real sugar or just corn syrup.
  1. Glass bottle is the best and wherever possible, this is the preferred container, even if the least convenient.
  2. Aluminum can is the next best. Not nearly as good as glass, but way better than plastic bottle.
  3. Those big, plastic bottles are the worst. Used strictly for their low cost and recyclibility.
Sorry bout that,

1. Glass bottles is what we need, putting them plastic, or aluminum isnt right.
2. Go back to what worked for a 100 years, this isnt a way to deliever this product.
3. Go back to glass, 10 oz, 16 oz, 32 oz thats is all.

So what? Trump knows about 10,000 MAGA donor billionaires. Must Trump now avoid any connections to them all?

Why don't you first hold the DNC to the same standard first. Everyone in the DNC is married or related to another person in politics.
  • Erdogan's daughter who dad was trying for a crime his daughterr stood to benefit from Trump's conviction.
  • Now we find out James Comey's own daughter is a prosecutor involved in cases championed by her dad.
So now, do Trump and all of MAGA have to give up sugar now? Or just Domino Sugar?

Cola is much better using real sugar than the fake crap derived from fructose corn syrup.

Zinc's cultism of envy shows through yet again.

Are democrats going to pay demonstrators to riot on behalf of the corn growers industry? It doesn't take much these days.

Does real ingredients cause diabetes? I’m thinking it was a long time before we associated soda with diabetes before they started doing all of the fake sugars and additives.
It caused diabetes in the 60’s and 70’s. Cane sugar will also spike blood sugar.

I had occasion to try a number of 2-liter bottles over many weeks, each the sugar-free versions of both Coke and Pepsi I'm pretty sure, and every time I came away with the same comparison:
  • The Coke always had a "watery" quality to it, thinner tasting, and it just took forever for its foam to settle down to anywhere near where the glass was even able to be 75% filled.
  • The Pepsi always had just a bit more of a bitey edge to it and had all the foam and fizz anyone could ever need, yet it settled down enough fast enough to where you could finish filling the glass in a way-shorter period of time.
Pepsi was sweeter and coke had more of a bite but that was years and years ago that I drank it. So I honestly can’t remember, I always preferred Dr. Pepper and 7 up, never cared for Sprite.

I don’t think that’s true. My entire school career from the early 70’s to the early 80’s there was exactly one person with diabetes and yes it was the fat out of shape kid. All through school I ran into zero people allergic to peanuts, wheat or any other foods. This shit only began happening after all the fake sweeteners and additives came around.

plenty of other uses for corn.
are you going to pay for sugar-cane imports?
I’d prefer real sugar. There are uses for corn for sure but maybe making fuel out of it isn’t necessary. The other option is maybe we don’t need to grow so much corn. If we’re growing so much corn the government needs to find uses for it like fake sugar or fuel additives that kind of tells me maybe we are farming too much of it.

President Trump was on a sugar high Wednesday, announcing that Coca-Cola would soon include the real sweet stuff in its US-sold beverages.

"I have been speaking to Coca-Cola about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so," Trump, 79, revealed on Truth Social.

Coca-Cola uses high fructose corn syrup in its US production, in contrast to cane sugar in countries like Mexico and the United Kingdom.

American coke, willing to do the job of a Mexican coke? ;)

Corn lobby gonna be pissed.

Cane sugar Coke > Nonexistent Epstein Files
Except that Coke denies it...

Dipshit thinks there are farmers who only grow corn or whose soil can only grow corn who will be put out of work and can't just switch to any of dozens of other vegetables that are in demand..... :auiqs.jpg:

I bet this idiot even thinks they belong to the 'Corn Growers of America' union or something.

Lol... leftists are now complaining about job loss. The fact that high fructose corn syrup is cancer causing, **** em. Suddenly leftists want America to continue consuming this high fructose corn syrup poison. :auiqs.jpg: Too bad Trump wasn't the first to call for banning red dye. Leftists would prefer Americans to consume poison instead of doing the right thing.

If Trump can help the blind to see again, leftists will say impeach him because he didn't help the deaf to hear again.

you have been able to buy coke with real cane sugar for awhile, the Mexican version has always used cane sugar, it is usually sold in glass bottles and not plastic. Was at the coke store in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago and they had cane sugar and also zero sugar and it had stevia in it.

Is HFCS causing cancer? From what I've seen, that's speculative at best at this point. In addition, the reason for the problematic correlation between HFCS and cancer may also apply to sugar, although possibly not in exactly the same way.

For example: Do sugary drinks increase colorectal cancer risk?
