Actually, it was a journalist who kept harassing her for financial information on Trump, her and her brother in the Fred Trump will....

She pushed the journalist off for a couple of years.... but persistence paid off for the journalist, Mary eventually went to see the lawyer who executed the will, to get copies of the will and financials at the time...at first the lawyer prevented her from getting them all, but then finally gave all the financials to her...9 cases.... And she turned them over to the journalist....

The journalist had a team of financial experts go through them all, and that's how she initially found out that they undervalued Fred's estate, so the percentage her and brother got of it, was 300 million less than what they were suppose to get.... or something of the sort.

She was the source for the Wasington Post article a year earlier breaking this bombshell news....

So yes, Mary does have an ax to grind, no doubt....

But that doesn't make it all false...
