People DID get training. I have a co-worker with... 16? certifications, who has applied for literally HUNDREDS of skilled jobs, with like 3 interviews and no jobs.

That is good advice to a PERSON, for them to get a bigger slice of the pie. IT IS NOT A POLICY for a socio-economic demographic.

They aren’t interested in paying them more. They fight them organizing. They don’t pay more even though they need help. And if wages go up it causes inflation so they raise interest rates on purpose to slow growth.

It’s all manufactured. And our current system is out of wack.

Did you see how much this generation is set to inherit? Trillions of dollars. But the super rich skew that number. They’re getting most of us.

I have a friend. Her father in law had one of those old school factory jobs, built a big house, saved and had a nice pension. Got his son in the same factory.

She married the son. The factory closed. The son, was not a ball of fire. He worked, but he never really recovered.

They have inherited the big house and some of the savings. THey are ok. They are actually in line to maybe inherit significantly from the other side too.

No kids. Never had the money.

So, yes, teh super rich skew the number, but a lot of people are set up to inherit a fair amount.

Our founders warned us about the small few getting so rich they can take over the whole thing. It’s happening.

I actually think the bigger concern is the formation of a two tier caste system where the dividing line is the 4 year college degree.

I see middle class people, just dismissing working class people, as their words and ideas, or concerns have no meaning at all. If not with outright hostility that such people dare speak out of turn.

It doesn't matter that most of the country is visually not overpopulated. VISUALLY The fact is we have too many bodies in our country and on this planet. Doesn't matter if they are all packed into our big cities. Do you want them to spread out? Would you like to see all our small towns grow in population?

They secretly/quietly up the number of LEGAL immigrants as part of how they keep wages down and supply our corporations with workers. If companies say they need more workers, Congress will up the number of immigrants we take in.

Show me when Mike Johnson introduces a bill that says we will not take in any new low educated immigrants until our uneducated blue collar population is fixed. Let me know the day that happens. It won't. Uneducated blue collar workers have already been forgotten about. Today we are back to complaining that prices are going to go up because of what Trump's doing to China and we aren't ready for this war. We should have gotten ready first huh?

By Trump's team's estimation, it would cost TRILLIONS to build the factories in the US to manufacture at scale domestically. What companies are going to invest trillions when Trump is turning tariffs on and off like a toddler with a light switch?

These are emergency orders that can be rescinded on a whim. Any company's investment could be rendered obsolete with a single toilet spawned rage tweet from Trump on any given evening. With Trump's entire tariff regime could be rescinded by the next president with 15 minutes and an autopen.
