Did the price of oil get to Don?

TACO anyone?

Dow futures jump 1,000 points after Trump says U.S. and Iran have held ‘productive’ talks:

Stock futures shot higher in a sudden move after President Donald Trump said the U.S. and Iran have held productive talks over the last two days and he was halting any strikes on Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures jumped 1,100 points, or 2.6% higher. S&P 500 futures jumped 2.7%, and Nasdaq-100 futures added 2.7%.

Those moves came as the Iran war entered its fourth week, with tensions escalating over the weekend. President Donald Trump threatened an attack on Iranian power plants if the Strait of Hormuz — a key shipping route for oil and other energy products — isn’t reopened. Iran responded in turn said it would target U.S. infrastructure, including energy and desalination facilities in the Gulf, if the U.S. carried out its threat.

Who are we going to talk to? Don said everyone in Iran's leadership is dead.

If anything was predictable about the conflict trump got us in to it's that he would blink. Cuz despite he claims to the contrary he did not expect the impact of his ill-fated decision to attack Iran to go this badly with respect to the US economy/stock market.
I wonder how many stocks Trump's "blind (to the reality)" trust bought stocks that went up.

Trump has to "negotiate" a "deal" now. This started as "complete surrender" and "obliteration", and now Iran is already rebuilding.

So is Iran in better shape after this ridiculous, embarrassing, expensive debacle? I guess we'll see.

Yeah. Iran's in great shape. Khamenei's doing very well.

This war never had any support and the fact that Trump had no idea what his objectives were nor what he would do if they closed the strait and choked off oil for the world doomed this military action.

We lost. His plan was to bomb Iran and watch them overthrow their government. When that didn’t work he tried an invasion to grab the nuclear material that failed and he covered it up poorly with a pilot fake rescue.

Iran defeated us. Unbelievable.

Shazam. You mean all these generals and admirals, the best military planners in the world had no plan? Most military guys I know are anal about organization and planning. So what year did you graduate from the USNA or West Point? You saw something the greatest Intelligence network in the world didn't see. Your talent is wasted here, pissing it away here in chat.

We lost dude. If they were brilliant and Trump followed their advice we wouldn’t have lost. So EITHER they are NOT brilliant OR they were not listened to. I know dozens of generals were fired or quit as a result of disagreements with the administration. Trump said himself, out loud, that “no one knew they would attack so many countries and close the strait”. Actually they did know that.

They lost their top 50 guys, got their missile systems in ashes, and are hemorrghaging oil money, and somehow WE lost?
If you guys want Mashie's respect, you've got to speak with some sense.

Joe was mentally in decline before the election. The ultimate stolen election in American history.
TACO grabs his ankles for Iran Mullah's! Shocking! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Have another shit sandwich, Trumptards! :abgg2q.jpg:

Don't be so quick to believe the regime's lies.

As of May 2026, U.S. intelligence reports indicate Iran retains significant military capabilities, including approximately \(70\%-75\%\) of its prewar ballistic missile stockpiles and mobile launchers. Despite weeks of U.S./Israeli strikes, Iran has restored access to 30 of 33 key missile sites near the Strait of Hormuz, challenging claims of a "completely obliterated" military.

Can you articulate what it was? For example, what was the plan to deal with Iran closing the Strait?

What did we lose?
Iran attacking other Gulf States was a major blunder, it put the Gulf states on our side, buying our defensive weapons.
Your anti-American perspective is typical for a democrat communist.

Since I am not a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, I wasn't informed of the exact plan, nor do I claim to know it. Unlike the armchair admirals in here.

The "deal" or "Memorandum of Understanding" is not signed, so we don't yet know the exact details, sorry to see you hoping Iran gets to keep its nukes and ICBM programs.

What a ridiculous assertion. It's nothing more than a talking point to absolve Dotard's culpability for causing this crisis.
We've had proxy attacks against us and our allies funded by Iran for 47 years. Deny that.

It's obvious there was no plan given the stalemate we, and the world, have been dealing with for 3 months.

Trump said gas prices are ‘peanuts.’ Only if you’re rich.

BAY SHORE, N.Y. — Surging gas prices have hit American drivers hard — but some much harder than others.

For households in the bottom quarter of the income distribution — those earning roughly $40,000 a year or less — commuting fuel costs now consume an average of about 4 percent of their income, according to a Washington Post analysis.

For households in the top quarter, earning $100,000 or more, the same costs amount to less than 1 percent. The gap has widened since March, as the U.S. war on Iran escalated and oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz stalled, with implications for global markets.

It stretches credulity to the breaking point to suggest those actions mean Iran started this war. It's just a talking point put of there in the MAGAsphere for the rubes to adopt.
