fox is actually saying that it's patriotic to pay higher prices.
Hasn't the left told us to pay higher energy prices to "save the planet" for a few decades now?

Not deflection, just more pointing out the inherent hypocrisy of almost all leftist positions.
Is it you don’t know what the word means?Biden didn’t keep all tariffs, just the ones that actually made sense.
Trump’s “liberation day” tariffs don’t make sense.
i am a 62 born & raised hetero female in a trad marriage just shy of our 40th anniversary.
He didn't think some negative reprocussions would come?Yep. Some made sense. Some didn't. Targeted tariffs on select countries aren't going to cause an economic calamity.
Trump's an idiot for thinking he could get away with massive tariffs on our trading partners.
It’s avoiding the topic because you can’t discuss if.It's not changing the topic, it's pointing out your sides hypocrisy when talking about reality.
Making America Great Again, you ******* idiot.
actually, there are alternatives to paying high prices of gasoline ...
tell me what the alternatives are to eating? to buying everything AND gasoline? huh, huh HUH?
It’s avoiding the topic because you can’t discuss if.

Sure Marty. I bet you actually believe that too.it's been discussed. Or actually it's been talked about by me, you just go all progspeak and quack like a retarded duck.
Fossil fuels play a part in those other items as well.
You really are a ******* moron.

Actually you are probably some 30 something basement dwelling soi boi.
29.
i'll never become part of the establishment.
I just think you are being played. No, I know you are being played.
Here's what we should have done a long time ago. Figured out what was important to us as a country and figured out what wasn't important. Some things we buy from China or other countries but VITAL things we make here at home. I'm in agreement with you.
But now they just want to bring companies home because foreign wages have gone up and shipping shit back here costs too much.
Great, come home. And pay us your taxes you owe. But Republicans won't do that. They'll give them tax breaks to come back. Which makes no sense. And those jobs won't pay well. Most will be robots. But corporations will make out great. And some jobs will come back. Still not smart to not have them pay taxes.
And so uneducated blue collar workers will still struggle nor will they get their fair share. You keep hoping that if Trump could just get everything he wanted, that would have fixed things. But you know he's never going to get that. But you'll still consider it a win, somehow.
Trump didn't NEED to buy all his merch from China but he did.
So you're saying we need to mandate that no one can buy from China? I agree
. Just like we need to mandate everyone go Green. You can't just hope people do it. Make Chinese shit so expensive no one will buy it. Slap a tariff on Tik Tok
Meaningless partisan swill. You really shouldn't have included this.
Irrelevant. The policy we had was insane FREE TRADE while our trading partners fucked us to death.
First I heard that was the reason. That is not MAGA. Not sure where you got that.
Corporations are fine with the status quo. This isn't about them. This is about the workers.
Your assumption that their will NOT be jobs for them/us, is unsupported.
This is a weird statement(s).
THe policy aim is not limited to just "uneducated" workers. Though I do hope for them also.
A partial win, where we get a significant portion of jobs back, and it has a significant postive effect on people's standard of living, would be a win. More is better, less is less good, but still better than just continuing to lose more and more all the time.
That's the "somehow". I don't know how you can pretend it is hard to understand.
He was playing by the rules of the game as they existed at that time. This has been discussed at length. Stop playing dumb.
Nope. Not the policy, never the policy.
If China could get itself sane and agree to a mutually beneficial trade arrangement, i would be fine with that.
i don't think they can. I think the internal pressure for the TRADE SUPRLUS, is such that they cannot bend. They will break.
A tariff is not a mandate to not buy. It makes a product more expensive. You are being very sloppy with your terminology. To the point of confusing your points.
