Anyone like me, who has been working in and with these countries for decades knows that they are all the same - aside from some cultural practices. They are smart, very hard working people, who simply want to improve their livelihood and "proof" that they are just as advanced as the Top Western countries - at certain things they are better whilst trying to close the gap where Western countries still have a lead.

Chinese, Koreans and Japanese are as different amongst each other, as a German to a Dutch or Danish person. Politically and economically the outsider is Japan due to it's disastrous political alliance with the USA. Korea has dealt with this issue far more successful.

What you see in China today is harsh as it is a totalitarian government. The citizens though had nothing before employment. Yet America was built with hard working people. New York would still be building its firsts subway elevated line if we had the same rules a century ago and longer as we have today.

China isn't Communist at all - it's a government controlled capitalistic economy, where it's citizens are being guided&controlled and social security and equality is a main pillar of the CPC's program.
