Trump announces executive order aiming to make hundreds of deregulations amid coronavirus permanent

Go Trump the business and people's president at work!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately for the people, we have to breathe the polluted air, deal with the polluted water, be exposed to dangerous chemicals, while watching the global warming prez ignore the overwhelming scientific evidence and cause catastrophic damage so he can squeeze 0.01% more GDP out of the economy.
Can you point to pollution in America being worse now than it was before Trump started reducing the regulatory burden on business, or can you only complain because you're sure it will happen?
"Regulatory burden" such as PPE for employees?
That's related to pollution, how? Or are you just trying to divert and deflect?
Can you spell M-A-S-K-S, dumbass.....?
Have you located the connection yet, intellectually challenged herd member?

Only you TDS people are blaming the President for a worldwide pandemic. Most logical people are not holding him responsible for a worldwide pandemic that was unstoppable. They are going to place their vote for how well he handles the problem. IMO, he's doing pretty well right now

I don't blame Trump for the world wide pandemic.

However...............................

I DO hold him accountable for what happens here in the USA. He's supposed to be president, so this is on him.

Who doesn't buy it themselves?
That's the responsibility of the employer.

They won't buy me the good stuff.
Does the "stuff" they provide for you meet OSHA requirements?

The order also relaxes compliance measures overall. Agencies will be told not to over-enforce regulations on small businesses and nonprofits that are doing the best they can.

You don't know that an executive order can be reversed at any time by any president?

You don't realize that EO will only be in effect while trump is president do you?

LOL. Wow are you stupid.

Obama's dream act was a EO the supreme court orders it permanent

So?

The Supreme Court ruled that Obama's EO was constitutional. So Obama's EO for DACA was legal and constitutional.

The Supreme Court ruled trump's EO reversing Obama's constitutional EO was unconstitutional. So what trump did was illegal and reversed.

All the next president needs to do is reverse this EO.

The only reason why trumps reversal of his EO was it was unconstitutional. Obama's wasn't.

It's not unconstitutional to stop polluting. If it was the environmental protection act would have been ruled unconstitutional in the nixon years.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that this EO by trump will be challenged and removed by the courts. We have a lot of laws and clauses in the constitution that makes the EO trump signed illegal. The environmental protection act is one. The General Welfare clause to the constitution is another.

So you can celebrate polluting our nation but it won't last long.

You're a fool if you think otherwise.

What's on him, people getting infected? That's what's been happening all over the world. There is no way to stop that. It's likely this thing has been in our country longer than we know.

He should have been working with the CEO's of the companies that are making the tests back in Feb, instead of waiting until the end of April.

And now, they are saying that if the shutdown had happened a week earlier, basing it on current models of the virus, we would have had 35,000 fewer deaths.

Yes, I blame Trump for the way he's been handling this and for his serious lack of leadership for the country.

That's only because you have the infection; not Covid, but TDS.

Trump acted on the advice from our various agencies and Dr. Fauci, who in late February, stated this was no real threat to the United States. Need the link, just ask.

It seems to me you suffer from ignorance about the testing. The FDA only approved one test kit for something like this, and that were the test kits developed by the CDC. When we started to use them, we found out they were defective.

Upon that discovery, Trump took immediate action to have the private sector once again save us from doom. But all that aside........what would having test kits have done? Let's say we had enough test kits for all 340 million people in our country. I go and take a test today, it comes out negative. On my way home from the hospital, I stop at my gas station for gasoline, and pickup the virus there. Then because I'm negative, I'm a little more careless of my interactions with other people.

The only thing test kits are good for is to confirm the diagnosis of medical personnel, or suspicion of the patient themselves. Unless we had 340 million test kits per day, they really wouldn't have helped us in any way, and still wouldn't.

What would help us are antibody test kits. They tell which one of us are incapable of catching this thing, and which people are not. However those test kits too have had some unreliable results, and labs worldwide are working on perfecting that test. Trump has nothing to do with that.

There was a study put out today that said Trump could have saved up to 36,000 lives if he had acted earlier on the virus, and not called it a hoax. We are at 95,000 dead, and you are cheering Trump while he kills us. WTF is wrong with you people? Are you insane?

Okay, lets go with your theory for a moment. Where would we be today if we shutdown the entire country with every threat: SARS, West Niles, Ebola, H1N1, H5N1 (bird flu), now imagine a lockdown in your city or state, and the entire country, and the government doing what it's doing now with each and every one of these threats. If you have to go out, you must wear a mask. You must wash and sanitize your hands continuously. You must not be involved in any public gathering.........

We would be doomed today, and our federal government with twice the debt we currently have. Is that would you like to see?
