I think this says something about the trump government.

The lengths to which you cultists go to convince yourselves of trump's innocence following his conviction is pathological.
"innocence following his conviction"

There was no legitimate "conviction". It was simply the ruling of a deranged left-wing judge egged on by a corrupt left-wing prosecutor. Every single cent of the $300 million fine James pursued was struck down and reversed because it was ruled unconstitutional by the appellate court in New York. A court that was even left-wing leaning. The fine was simply embarrassing to them.

If a prosecutor tries to fine a defendant running for President (of the opposite party) an unbelievable amount of $300 million for "fraud" without identifying a single victim of said fraud and then sees an appellate court strike it completely down then that's a corrupt prosecutor. That's political and lawfare. She should be in prison for those acts.

You're an idiot.

I’m just documenting the analogies that Trump supporters are using to describe his administration.
Here's something that's not an "analogy". It actually happened and is appalling.

A left-wing prosecutor tried to fine the Republican candidate $300 million for "fraud" without ever identifying anyone that was defrauded. It was an act that tried to cripple his ability to run to President. An appellate court struck it completely down and ruled it unconstitutional.

That's lawfare an corruption by James. Agreed?

The appellate court found the fine was too high, not that the fraud did not occur.

‘Crap’: Stephen Colbert blasts CBS for denying it blocked James Talarico interview from air

“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night called CBS’s denial of his claim that it blocked the broadcast of his interview with Texas state Rep. James Talarico “crap” — and urged the network and its parent, Paramount Skydance, to stand up to the “bullies” in the Trump administration.

Colbert’s broadside came hours after CBS issued a statement on the controversy.

The host, whose show will end in May as it was canceled by CBS, held up a printed copy of the network’s statement about Talarico’s interview during his show Tuesday night and said, “I don’t even know what to do with this crap.”

He then pulled a plastic doggy bag from behind his desk, picked up the statement, tied a knot, and mimed throwing it away before cutting to commercial.

The controversy is the latest flap to spark speculation that CBS is currying favor with the Trump administration as Paramount makes a hostile tender bid for
Warner Bros Discovery. If WBD’s shareholders accept Paramount’s bid, the federal government regulators would need to sign off on the deal.

Larry Ellison is trying to neuter CBS News, 60 Minutes, and is now trying to silence Colbert in order to please the Orange Grifter. Who wants to be able to turn on the TV in the evening and never have to see any criticism of him. Something he's apparently assigned Brendan Carr to achieve...........and he's doing his best.
