Oh... and All Franken can ask him under oath about his taxes, Russia, and many other things. That would be AWESOME!

It would, if the hearings were about any one of those things besides Russia. Is goofy Al even on that committee?

Have you not watched any of the recent hearings? The Senators don't always ask questions relating to the issue. McCain asked about Hillary Clinton to Comey yesterday when in fact the hearing was for Comey to talk about his memos and conversations with Trump.
Trump answering questions under oath would have a greater audience than the SuperbowlOh... and All Franken can ask him under oath about his taxes, Russia, and many other things. That would be AWESOME!

Impeachment ammunition.

Clinton had to testify in a civil lawsuit. Seperation of powers makes the president exempt. Remember Bush didn't testify under oath before the 9-11 commission.
Since Homey testified that he leaked sensitive and classified information, as he knew that if it came out later that he would be sentenced to death, Homey will be under indictment before Trump testifies to anything. Trump can not be compelled to testify about nothing, Homey will use his Sig Sauer on his own useless brain any day now, or end up in the Federal Pen as a bunkmate to Blagojevich and Leroy BrownTrump agrees to testify under oath about his conversations with Comey.
Will this be another promise he does not follow through on?
Who thinks Trump will ever testify under oath to congress or the special prosecutor.

I don't think Trump will testify under oath. Last time he did, he said he couldn't recall over 200 times, when asked about the people he personally hired.
I thought Clinton had to do that vedio under oath thing? Was so long ago and I was busy stomping brain cells.

The USSC made a unanimous ruling that a sitting president wasn't immune from civil suits. They said famously, that the deposition could go forward, because the suit wouldn't take up much of the presidents time.
