Democrats insist on telling us that you are the gender you think you are. They ignore the idea that the science determined your sex, thus your gender, at birth. Gender is a social construct, sex is a scientific fact. Without the scientific fact, there is no societal construct.

If gender is a social construct, would transgenderism also be nothing more than a construct? Would any gender surgery be based on a societal definition as opposed to the science surrounding the determination of biological sex at birth?

If transgenderism is a social construct that runs contrary to the scientific definition of sex, does that not qualify as a psychological disorder instead of a reason to mutilate your body to meet the directions of a society that thinks you are the gender you think you are as opposed to the sex you were born as?

The solution is simple, but not profitable enough for the charlatans of the transgender industry to ever accept. All a transgender, or gender fluid, or gender-whatever person need do is accept what the left has been telling us: gender and sex are two different ideas.

You were born with a biological male body, but you feel like a woman? It's your life, live it how you please. Dress up, make up, pad up, practice in size eleven high heels. Present yourself as a woman.

Just don't mutilate yourself to do it. Find a heterosexual man who likes women with penises. Apparently the relatively smaller number of men who fall in that category make up for their smaller numbers with their enthusiasm for transwomen.

In other words, you will have no trouble finding a man to whom you can honestly sing, "you make me feel like a natural wo-oman." I would have to think that you would be much more successful finding such a man than if you tried to find a man who prefers women with mutilated penises converted into nasty-looking imitations of vaginas.

Obviously, this option is already available to anyone, and the same principle can apply to biological females who believe their gender to be man. So, what's my point?

We should be encouraging people who express that they are transgender to go this route instead of automatically referring them to psychiatrists whose bread and butter is prescribing hormone treatments and referring patients (with "appropriate" fee-splitting) to surgeons whose bread and butter is phalloplasty or vaginoplasty. Once in contact with such a practitioner, it is unlikely that the transgender person will ever hear any advice other than the medical equivalent of "DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!"

I'd say transgenderism is more politically induced so it would best be classified under a political heading than the other three headings mentioned in your post.
