in some circles like universities it is very accepted and common, one american guy told me at his uni, there were lots of transgenders, i think transgender is worse then gay, it is more crazy, gays dont bother you but you can be transphobic if you disagree to sleep with a transgender because in theory you reject the concept of transgender you do not accept they are women or you would sleep with them. i saw transgenders saying that if they have to tell you they are trans you are transphobic. and when i was a kid, in school we learned to be friendly to gays, but transgenders didnt exist maybe draq queens, a few but not transgenders.

They did no such thing in OKC in fact they had their own section of town where they partied and lived without oppression this was the 1970s when I discovered the whole scene..

Funny thing is.................most of the drag shows in the clubs were filled with straight people.
Lots of gay clubs had tons of straights coming in. Why? The women weren't being hit on and fondled.
Now if the guys took their girlfriends to a lesbian club...................

Here in Omaha, the hottest club in the city is " The Max " . Straight and gays mix their freely. I am not a young person anymore I haven't been to the bars for about 20 years. Some of my friends still go there. I don't, because I remember the older men sitting around the bar drooling over the younger men and I'm an older man now and I don't like torturing myself. That day has come and gone for me.

Most people never question who they really are. They are so " conditioned "by the demands of society, they failed to see themselves. It is the rare man or woman who knows who he is. Most people just stumble through life burdened by guilt and shame.
