Zone1 Too Bad That God Promised No More Great Floods

Israel is the servant in Isaiah not Jesus.
Oh really? Why do you continue lying and denying The Divinity of Jesus Christ, The Messiah?

The Suffering and Glory of the Servant

Isaiah 52

13 See, my servant will act wisely
he will be raised and lifted
up and highly exalted.

Are you exalting Israel every day?
Jesus is exalted now but will be even more exalted in the coming kingdom.

14 Just as there were many who were appalled at him
his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being
and his form marred beyond human likeness.

So Israel is a disfigured human being?
Jesus was marred for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities

15 so he will sprinkle many nations,
and kings will shut their mouths because of him
.

Is Israel sprinkling many nations?

Jesus has sprinkled his blood upon all nations so that anyone who believes shall be saved and the gospel of Jesus Christ has shut the mouths of many kings.
By your interpretation Israel is your Savior and Israel died for your sins.

Isaiah 53

1 Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
3 He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
4 Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
8 By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was punished.[b]
9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
11 After he has suffered,
he will see the light of life[d] and be satisfied[e];
by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,[g]
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,[h]
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.

Also According to your interpretation Israel is God and you should be praying to Israel.
Do you pray to Israel? Do you face Jerusalem and pray to Israel who according to your interpretation is "The God of All The Earth?"

The Future Glory of Zion

Isaiah 54

1 “Sing, barren woman,
you who never bore a child;
burst into song, shout for joy,
you who were never in labor;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband,”
says the Lord.
2 “Enlarge the place of your tent,
stretch your tent curtains wide,
do not hold back;
lengthen your cords,
strengthen your stakes.
3 For you will spread out to the right and to the left;
your descendants will dispossess nations
and settle in their desolate cities.
4 “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame.
Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated.
You will forget the shame of your youth
and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.
5 For your Maker is your husband—
the Lord Almighty is his name—
the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
he is called the God of all the earth.
6 The Lord will call you back
as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit—
a wife who married young,
only to be rejected,” says your God.
7 “For a brief moment I abandoned you,
but with deep compassion I will bring you back.
8 In a surge of anger
I hid my face from you for a moment,
but with everlasting kindness
I will have compassion on you,”
says the Lord your Redeemer.
9 “To me this is like the days of Noah,
when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth.
So now I have sworn not to be angry with you,
never to rebuke you again.
10 Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
11 “Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted,
I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise,[a]
your foundations with lapis lazuli.
12 I will make your battlements of rubies,
your gates of sparkling jewels,
and all your walls of precious stones.
13 All your children will be taught by the Lord,
and great will be their peace.
14 In righteousness you will be established:
Tyranny will be far from you;
you will have nothing to fear.
Terror will be far removed;
it will not come near you.
15 If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing;
whoever attacks you will surrender to you.

16 “See, it is I who created the blacksmith
who fans the coals into flame
and forges a weapon fit for its work.
And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc;
17 no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and this is their vindication from me,”
declares the Lord.

Isaiah 53 is about the suffering servant , but Isaiah writes about Israel all thru the book and all thru the Old Testament God calls Israel my servant or my son
What's going to take for you to quit lying and have God remove your Blindness?

The prophecies say that Jews will have to go through Jacob's Trouble they are so stubborn and blind before the accept Messiah, and they only do that after they have lost 2/3rds of their country men and are cornered by AntiChrist on the verge of annihilation.

Only then do they cry out to Jesus, and He appears at The Battle of Armageddon to save them and turn the valley of Meggido to blood with Israel's enemies.

Because Islam is a counterfeit religion. The Last Revelation of God was written by John in The Book of Revelation.

When Jesus said "It is finished" it was finished. We are not to add a single word to scripture after The Book of Revelation.

Islam also denies Christ as Messiah.

1 John 2:22-23
Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.

Now this is the Christianity I'm used to, exclusionary. You should talk to ding about it.

I'm not sure the 'Last Revelation' of God was written by John in The Book of Revelation. When that book was written there was no Bible as we know it, just a collection of individual writings that would later become scripture. I think the author meant that that was the end of his writing. Kind of like seeing the words "The End" at the close of a movie.

True enough, but until I see ANY evidence that there is a supernatural world I'm skeptical.
Of course you are not going to see any evidence, as evidence is physical and therefore in the physical realm. Do you ever crack open a single dry rock, looking for water or an oak tree? Try venturing into the spiritual realm if it should ever strike your interest.

* no, they are written in the desert books - what is their source ... you know, was it kill or murder, tell all christian.

tree, did you forget about the stones - etched in the heavens - have you found them yet ...

Even if one rose from the dead you would not believe, and even if He who rose from The Dead appears in The Clouds in Glory to return you would not embrace Him.
You will pray for the mountains to fall upon you and hide you from The Face of The Passover Lamb.

Israel even in The Presence of God with Moses and Joshua leading them committed the sin of Korah and worshiped a gold calf instead of the true and living God that parted the Red Sea in their presence and lead them out of bondage from Egypt and humbled Paharoah.

They are all offshoots of Judaism. Try a religion that isn't.
I don't know much about other religions but I'd guess they'd all started the same was as the big 3. A charismatic leader has the truth revealed to him by a god(s). I can only speculate that Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, and all the pagan religions started the same way.

Then maybe you should study them to find out if they claim they are a revealed religion. I have. They don't.

there is a difference between - belief and faith - - and stones - etched in the heavens - ...

you accuse faithful of being liars when it is you who wraps yourself around a true lie for the very reason to trick people to believe as you do.

the desert commandments are the heart of those terrorizing religions - used throughout the centuries to persecute and victimize the innocent - o. tree.

the - scarlett letter - does it wet you appetite, tree. you know nothing of the true 1st century events - liberation theology, self determination ... sinner.

I am a sinner, but my sins have been atoned for according to The Law by The Servant of God, Jesus Christ, The Messiah. You? Not so much.

God's name in Genesis 1:1 Translated into English literally reads

Behold The Hand.
Behold The Nail.

So, sorry to tell you this Jesus is Jehovah, and Jehovah is Jesus.

no, not while you continue to lie, the false 10 commandments - you are a crucifier and will be dealt with accordingly.

I hear what you're saying but I still have a problem accepting it. I think people from all ages in all places have taken the same venture into the spiritual and, without any exceptions I'm aware of, have returned with a completely different answer. Something I've been unable to explain to ding. Most religions were polytheistic not monotheistic so it is hard for me to imagine someone finding Jesus who was not looking for Jesus.

I think you mean to say they have a completely different opinion.

As for most religions were polytheistic, I think you mean to say they were polytheistic before monotheism became the dominant belief. I truly believe you don't know the first thing about polytheistic beliefs and why that view is no longer believed.

It's not true at all when you say that none of the prophets expected Jesus to die for the sins of Israel and that of the whole world.

I think Jews have a different interpretation of Isaiah and feel Christians take it out of context:

Origen, a prominent and influential church father, conceded in the year 248 CE – eight centuries before Rashi was born – that the consensus among the Jews in his time was that Isaiah 53 “bore reference to the whole [Jewish] people, regarded as one individual, and as being in a state of dispersion and suffering, in order that many proselytes might be gained, on account of the dispersion of the Jews among numerous heathen nations.”3

The broad consensus among Jewish, and even some Christian commentators, that the “servant” in Isaiah 52-53 refers to the nation of Israel is understandable. Isaiah 53, which is the fourth of four renowned Servant Songs, is umbilically connected to its preceding chapters. The “servant” in each of the three previous Servant Songs is plainly and repeatedly identified as the nation of Israel.

Isaiah 41:8-9

But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend; you whom I took from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest corners, saying to you, “You are my servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off.”
Isaiah 44:1

But now hear, O Jacob my servant, Israel whom I have chosen!
Isaiah 44:21

Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for you are my servant; I formed you; you are my servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by me.
Isaiah 45:4

For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I called you by your name, I name you, though you do not know me.
Isaiah 48:20

Go out from Babylon, flee from Chaldea, declare this with a shout of joy, proclaim it, send it out to the end of the earth; say, “The Lord has redeemed his servant Jacob!”
Isaiah 49:3

And he said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”
