In other current events, the Greek tragedy continues to careen down the socialist rabbit hole. German pensioners - those whose wealth has been paying generous Greek benefits - are unwilling to throw more of their hard earned cash in Greece's direction. As of this moment Greece is insolvent and months behind on payments to suppliers and some gov't workers. C.O.D will be a tough way to run a country. A two hour delay in paying their pensioners - many of whom "retired" at 58 with 80% of salary - has spooked even the most ardent supporter of their socialist gov't. Without new loans from "stupid" capitalists - and that seems unlikely - default on existing loans is unavoidable. German workers are resentful that they must work until 66 to qualify for a 60% of salary pension. The nerve!
