Shrink your government or you will become a REAL police state like Canada is. If Trump succeeds in this pursuit, and it should include ALL agencies to some degree; you will be far better off moving forward, fiscally and socially.
Big government for by their nature of a collective and for their survival, will always expand control over your life. Your pursuits, your innovation, they will manufacture threats to justify their existence and budgets etc.
Most people who advocate for big government never fought in a war or had close family that did. There is a saying in Canada, that I am sure quite a few boot lickers in America and even on this forum adhere to when speaking of such people; "they are the first to join the police last to join the military".
This is an important concept because it illustrates the depravity of some people. We all know the types, they see a situation and they immediately believe the most extreme response is adequate or necessary. If you wanted to live in a nation such as North Korea, wouldn't you just move there"?
These are generally squirrely little men who feign "alpha male" when they are anything but. I've seen 1000s of interviews with WWII soldiers, many of them from the 1960s when they were still young. There was never a modern day defined "alpha male" among them. However, one thing they all possessed was principle. Principle and constitution is what makes a man, not some false sense of being a zombie following a TV character like Clint Eastwood or Charles Bronson ffs.
Big government destroys principle and rewards the most cowardly, even into positions of power. This is what America must avoid. A "conservative" shouldn't be excited by the violation of civil rights, nor should a "liberal". There are people who are fascists and they have more in common with those who historically the West has fought than those allied with the West.
