I only read the first page of replies and I can see that by the 28th the topic has turned. But to the original question - I agree with those who believe Trump should put forth his nominee post-haste. It is his Constitutional right, it is his Constitutional duty. Let the Senate then do what it's going to do.

Nominating a new Justice is not a political move - withholding a nomination would be a political move. Trump is not calculating whether or not a nomination now would cost him the election - that is one of many good things that distinguishes him from the entrenched politicians we all love to hate but keep voting into office.

Screw the Democrats - they don't deserve consideration in this decision...nor am I moved by their cries of hypocrisy, they excel in hypocrisy.
