TN-07 Results

59% of the vote reported and Aftyn Behn is only trailing Van Epps by 300 votes. This is a solid red District that Trump won by over 20 percentage points and Behn is a far left extremist. Even if Van Epps wins this, this is a terrible result for the Republicans.

This didn't age well.

Turnout was low compared to the November 2024 general election, and in a district like this that usually beenfts the Dems as Republicans have a terrible track record of turnout in special elections.

More than 179,000 voters participated, a notable improvement over the primary, but just over half of the turnout for Green’s victory over Barry last year.

Turnout was roughly the same as 2022. Trump won the district last year by 22 points. Green won it last year by 20 points. Green won it in 2022 by 19 points. Van Epps only won by eight after pouring millions into the race against a bat shit crazy opponent.

But go ahead and tell us again how it usually benefits the Democrats.

At least know what you’re talking about

Dude he won handily. It wasn't even close.

The Dems have been spiking the football for a few weeks now. They clearly think that just pointing a finger at the obscenity in the Oval Office will be enough for a blue wave. Did you see yesterday when he called affordability "a Democrat hoax"? Incredible. They should be thanking him.

Yet the Dems are still showing zero (0) evidence they understand why they motivated so many people to vote for Trump in the first place. They may get a blue wave, but they really don't deserve it on their own merits.

So 41% gave Van Epps a 15,000 vote lead? LOL

Taz is an example of that "low human capital" he spoke about at the beginning of the thread.

In other words your typical leftist. It took very few posts before he just had to mention Trump.
