Low turn-out special elections usually favor the vile dems....Even if they lose their percentages are usually higher than the in the normal 2-year cycle.

The incumbent was reelected last year by a 20 point margin and two years prior by 19 points. I would expect a special election to be closer. 10 points wouldn’t be disappointing, but probably not as good as it should be.
