Tim Kaine shockingly compares the Declaration of Independence to Iran's theocratic regime: 'Extremely troubling'

Americans have fundamental beliefs, and after all the pretense on the part of Democrats, there is no longer disputing that they have eschewed said beliefs in favor of a foreign ideology.

  • At a hearing today, Tim Kaine said our rights come from laws, from government, not from our Creator. That’s contrary to the Declaration of Independence.

  • The Constitution clearly states the right of free speech, yet Democrats have denied that right to pastors, and Kagan says government can make some words illegal

  • The Constitution makes all of us equal, not with different benefits based on skin color, nationality, or religion. Yet the Mamdani Democrats, normalized by Obama and other Democrat officials, favors racism, anti-Semitism, abolishing private property.

  • The Constitution specifically places restriction on the powers of government, rather that individuals, yet the Democrat Party has become spokesman of socialism and communism.

  • Trump has highlighted one of most painful differences between Americans and Democrats: our side favors law abiding innocent folks, while the Democrats champions criminal, invaders, sex traffickers a murderers.

  1. The Declaration of Independence did not establish the laws of the land. The constitution did.
  2. If anyone has retricted the right to free speech its Republicans. Banning books, banning certain topics, and now we have a President arresting students for speaking out.
  3. The Constitution made us 3/5ths of a human, denied the original nations equal status, denied women equal status, and excluded every person who was not white. My goodness, if this is what Columbia University produces, then Columbia should be shut down.
  4. At this moment, the Republican Party is fascist.

The Constitution made SLAVES three fifths of a person or the sole purpose of the census. Free blacks were full persons. The slave owning states wanted their property SLAVES counted as a full person while having no rights at all. The free states didn't want PROPERTY which is what the slave owning states considered slaves counted at all for the census. Just like you and your ilk want illegal aliens counted in the census for the same reason the slave owners wanted their slaves counted: pure political power in the halls of Congress and the Electoral College.

You need to grow up, this simple FACT has been explained to you over a hundred times by many posters.

The document that followed is what ensures not only the natural rights of life, liberty, and property, but a whole host of other rights as well.

Apparently the FF's didn't have much faith in a supernatural being entrusted with ensuring these rights for the people.

The DOI was the justification for separation from England, not the blue prints for setting up a liberal democracy.
 
There is a difference between a Declaration of Independence and a Constitution technically. The United States went from a Declaration of Independence to the Articles of Confederation to the Constitution of the United States. Technically the Articles of Confederation was of more freedom.
A Supreme Set of Laws Is Nothing But Tyranny

Practically the same incompetent political scientists who administered the Articles of Confederation wrote the Constitution. The oligarchy always implies they were a completely different group.

The founders were deliberate when they used the word "Creator," instead of referring to "the Lord God Jehovah, of the Old and New Testaments and NO other," or some such. They knew and respected that different Americans had and would have different ideas on "our Creator."

So, if you believe that we were created by the natural forces of nature, acting with no guidance from any sentient being, good news! That creator gave you the same rights as mine gave me or anyone on this board, or in this nation.

I'll bet not one of those guys believe that I have rights that were endowed by my creator. Nope. Government, i.e. Tim, Tim, and Chris, gives me my rights.

Weird thing is that Kaine, not only says it, he goes on and on as if he knew how bad it sounded. But he only made it worse.

Obviously, Tim Kaine is wrong. He is ignorant or stupid or dishonest. But that is not what America stated about our inalienable rights when we declared our Independence.
 
This is a major, massive problem with current models for electing officials.

We need to get these corporations to stop funding or controlling these elections with funding their campaigns or bribing them with stock trading after they are in.

Because the man is so egotistical that he doesn't even know what the fundamental difference is anymore.

Rubio isn't much better in actions, but at least he knows what the documents say and mean. He doesn't follow them all that often....but at least he publicly gives assent.

There are several in Europe, New Zealand Australia. Then there is Canada. Even South Africa. Most of these nations have created reconciliation commissions to work on their past oppression of non white people. But not here.
