What does Qatar expect to get in return for this $400 million dollar gift?

How did they even come up with the idea of giving this plane to us as an AF1 for Trump?

Why would or did Qatar even think the USA would accept such a gift?

Why does Qatar have say in where this gifted plane to the supposed USAF goes, after Trump leaves office...they say the air force needs to gift it to Trump's presidential library? Why? Once it goes to the Trump Presidential Library it becomes Trump's possession... He would own it....and can use it anytime....

If this was a gift for the USA, why wouldn't other president's have the pleasure of using it? Especially after 100 million of tax payer's money went to retrofit it to AF1 Security standards?

What will the next foreign King or Prince gift Trump that will outdo this palace in the sky, from Qatar?

Why did the founders put the Emoluments Clause in the Constitution? What was their worry?

Qatar is an example of a post independence country that has done so well with its resources. If you look at other countries in South America, Southeast Asia or Africa that have become independent in the 20th century…. Many of them have squandered their resources and the living status is a hell hole for many of their citizens. Not the case with Qatar.

Qatar has only been independent from the British since 1971. And they have put together one of the greatest success stories of the 21st-century.

Iran controls 10% of the entire world oil reserves. Yet look at them. There government does not embrace modern values. They reject the west look at what it has gotten them. They are isolated. Many of their people are struggling economically. Now compare that to Saudi Arabia or Qatar who have chosen to work with the USA. Whom have chosen to embrace modern values. Just take a look at the LAX airport and compare that to the Hamad international airport in Doha.

I was at the LAX last year. The place is a dump and the streets right by one of the busiest airports in America are flooded with potholes.

The biggest roadblock to that are the bad habits of the GOP themselves. The GOP must learn to stop allowing RINOS into their party. Many democrats run as republicans so they can get in and just obstruct things. Not a no brainer at all. I was a systems engineer for my entire career. That is NOT the kind of nation to nation gift we want or need.

I personally think it would be foolish to turn it down. You can sweep it and modify it. Neutralize whatever they planted. You might be a systems engineer, but we are a nation of great technological capability, we can neutralize any threats that plane could pose.
