Violent Crime Falls in U.S. Cities as ICE Removes Worst of the Worst from American Communities | Homeland Security
DHS highlighted a recent report by an independent non-partisan organization, the Council on Criminal Justice, which showed a decrease in certain violent crimes in multiple cities across the U.S. during the first six months of 2025.
According to the report, other violent offenses are also on the decline. The data shows gun assaults are down 21%, aggravated assault is down 10%, sexual assault is down 10% and carjacking is down 24% from January to June of 2025 compared to the same period the year prior.
It seems illegals are responsible for major amounts of crime. As they are removed by ICE crime declines significantly. One reason is they are repeat offenders and have been allowed to escape prosecution by Democrat DAs
There is another reason crime is down not just by illegals
Five years ago, the U.S. saw an extraordinary surge in gun purchases. Pandemic anxiety, civil unrest, and political uncertainty converged in 2020, sending background checks to record highs. Since then, the firearm market has cooled. At the same time, violent crime fell 4.5 percent in 2024, including a nearly 15 percent drop in murders, according to the FBI’s most recent national crime statistics release. However, guns are still the primary weapons used in homicides and suicides across the country.
The facts are there more guns slod and violent crime goes down proving more legal gun owners dont cause more crime
