Those who insist Christians are attempting to establish a theocracy....

You ******* idiot.

"The Republican Party pioneered the right of women to vote and was consistent in its support throughout the long campaign for acceptance. It was the first major party to advocate equal rights for women and the principle of equal pay for equal work"

"
By 1870, the Massachusetts Republican State Convention had already seated two suffragettes, Lucy Stone and Mary A. Livermore, as delegates. In addition, the National Republican Convention of 1872 approved a resolution favoring the admission of women to “wider fields of usefulness” and added that “the honest demand of this class of citizens for additional rights … should be treated with respectful consideration.”
Wyoming, the state that pioneered womenÂ’s suffrage, sent two women, Therese A. Jenkins and Cora G. Carleton, to the 1892 Republican Convention in Minneapolis as alternate delegates. This was the first time women were seated at a Republican National Convention.
This convention was also the first to be addressed by a woman, J. Ellen Foster, chairman of the Women’s Republican Association of the United States. A strong believer in organization, Foster said her association had prepared work plans for women’s involvement in national politics. Copies were given to each delegate and alternate. “We are here to help you,” she declared, “and we are here to stay.”
At the request of Susan B. Anthony, Sen. A.A. Sargent, a Republican from California, introduced the 19th Amendment in 1878. SargentÂ’s amendment (also known as the Susan B. Anthony Amendment) was defeated four times by a Democrat-controlled Senate. When the Republican Party regained control of Congress in 1919, the Equal Suffrage Amendment finally passed the House in May of that year and in the Senate in June.
When the Amendment was submitted to the states, 26 of the 36 states that ratified it had Republican legislatures."

National Federation of Republican Women

You are just one more fool who doesn't get that the GOP of yesteryear bears no resemblance to the GOP of today.

The will of the people is that abortion be legal only in cases of rape and to save the life of the mother.

Something that progressives like to ignore. The people didn't vote in RvW. The courts had to go over their head.

The support to keep Roe v Wade in place is around 60%.

It would be less if people would stop believing the lies that is fed to them by the baby killers.

Lies like "the same number of women will get abortions if it's illegal" and "abortion prevents child abuse" and "legalized abortion will reduce the number of abortions needed" (for what? Who k nows).

Lies like "if we dont' have abortion clinics, women will be forced to carry rape spawn and genetically warped monsters to term" and "abortion is WOMEN'S HEALTH".

Once we get those lies out of the way, people will run PP out of town on a rail. They'll be lucky if they aren't tarred and feathered, when people realize what's REALLY going on.

Those aren't lies. Those are studies and documented occurrences. Or is the World Health Organization just making things up?

Even when we look at countries who make abortion illegal, the number of abortions does not decrease. The only thing that actually changes is the number of women who die. Why do you think reputable agencies around the world would all lie about this topic in the exact same way? Massive world wide conspiracy? Do you not see why I find you delusional?

But regardless of the things you falsely believe to be lies, the case still stands: the majority of Americans DISAGREE with you. Again, deal with it and stop making these ridiculous excuses.

SmarterThanHick, don't expect kg to act rationally. She can't for reasons that we won't discuss in this thread. Just accept that she can't think rationally.

They are lies. Thank you for spreading them. BTW, PP isn't a "reputable agency" lol.

So you think the World Health Organization, the NY Guttmacher institute, and every individual epidemiologist worldwide who has ever studied this topic, is fabricating their data? With absolutely no proof against this consistent data worldwide, you single handedly somehow know them to be untrue. With no support. Because you said so.

You realize you sound batshit crazy, right?

My earlier point about her stability. Thanks.

Yes, they are. In multiple threads. In every Christian bashing thread, it comes up..."Christians are trying to establish a theocracy!" "Politicians must not reference God or make decisions based upon their faith" "Christians are forcing their religion upon us and they must be stopped!"

Ok, so this is their big chance to point out exactly HOW the so-called Christian bloc is attempting to establish a theocracy, and how they're trying to force their religion upon the citizens of the US.

Now I'm done talking to you. You're a troll, I already had you on ignore because this is what you do...you visit threads to post lies meant to derail them. Go away, ankle biter.

Exactly. Mit Romney being a Mormon was a big issue this last election. They were not around for the furor it caused when a Catholic was running. It isn't enough that we have a secular government, those who work for it must all be atheist. Atheism is their only approved religion.

Atheists certainly think so, Sunshine, but abortion policies are political and moral and religious in scope but not exclusively so. To suggest otherwise reveals a sense of unbalance, a lack of awareness of the scope and depth of the issue.

Abortion is a costly procedure for a problem not created by the taxpayers and which should not have to be funded by the taxpayers. Taxpayers not wanting to pay for abortion does not constitute establishment of a state church.

Yes, I do. They all depend on information provided by PP, and PP lies their asses off. All those organizations trade money and admin back and forth...it's like getting environmental information from Exxon and no other source.

Thank you for the clarity of that statement. You have separated the religious from the political. I accept that point of view.

And every epidemiologist worldwide? Amazing that in exactly ZERO independent scientific or health journals is there an article that suggests your conspiracy theory to be correct. Zero. One would think that somewhere in the world someone with decent data would have been able to blow the whistle on this ridiculous and hysterical conspiracy you've contrived. Hahahahaha.

Every epidemiologist worldwide doesn't spout fake abortion numbers.

What a ridiculous statement you've made there. As if every epidemiologist worldwide has published information about abortion.

She is a fanatic crazy bat.

Actually, independent scientific and health journals, along with the cdc, guttmacher's and PP all admit that their numbers are crap and really there are no accurate numbers.

Jake knows this because he's had his face rubbed in them before, which is why he's pretending now that he's never seen them.
