Massie is as much, if not more so, conservative than Rand it. His fiscal and constitutional voting record is a little better than Rand.

I believe Massie wants to basically eliminate or significantly reduce all social safety net programs like Medicare and Social Security in order to eliminate the national debt.

He is allowed to hold that belief, but it will cause tremendous pain for millions of poor people in this country if that ever happened.

Politically independent will get this. More than likely, ONLY the real politically independents will get this. The others, Trump supporters and democrats probably won't.
There's so much information in this, evidence of wrong doing, I'm not sure how anyone couldn't get this. As in what's completely wrong with our government. And who's responsible for the way it is. Why two sides are constantly bickering. And even worse, dreaming up things to bicker about.

To answer your question, the billionaires and their corporations, NGOs, etc that control our government have and will always oppose politicians like Massey. Many independent politicians like Massey have been effectively removed from congress over the decades. A few that immediately come to mind are Justin Amash, Dennis Kucinich, and Curt Weldon.
